Made from high-quality yarns, spun for us in England
Machine washable

This lambswool sweater is tightly knit from finer yarns to make it thicker and softer than most others you might find. The high-quality yarns are spun for us in England by Hinchliffe Mills. One of the world's premier mills, they use a slower spinning process called mule spinning, which yields a softer product. Made in China. Machine wash, dry flat.

It provides good warm and can be easily worn with a light jacket. It is light enough where most of the time it can be worn inside in a reasonably heated area. I also like the finish and look. Rated 3 out of 5�by johnlll Nice sweater Sweater fits well and color is good. But the fabric feels rather thin and less substantial than other Bean lambswool sweaters I have had in the past. I hope it will wear well -- time will tell. If it does not, it will not have been a good value, because it was fairly expensive. A Bean shetland wool sweater that I also bought recently is much more substantial and less expensive. January 9, 2013

They just don't wear out, I have had the other two for 6 years now; and while they have been relegated to work sweaters they still will look fine with a pair of Levi's and a button down. It is fine for casual dress indoors for meetings, parties, etc. It is not heavy enough to provide a lot of warmth for really cold outdoors. Since wool sweaters are not easy to find and I had some LLB discounts, this was a reasonable value. January 2, 2013

These are the only sweaters my husband will wear. Warm without being too bulky but not thin like Merino. Great for upstate NY winters!! January 2, 2013

I wish LL would either not use sewn-in tags, or engineer a quick-release tag so I could easily get rid of them. December 25, 2012

Now its a blanket for my dog. Was considering purchasing another today, but at the price, its not a good value. December 2, 2012
