I recently bought the newer model of these sandals and some reviewers said they preferred this model, so I purchased these in the other two colors. The 7 fit me in the new model, and that's all that was available in these. When I got them, they were both very small in the opening and overall shoe. They don't stretch at all, so even if they fit, getting them on would be an issue. If you wear a 6 and they still have a 7, I'd say give it a shot. But I had to return mine.

i bought these sandals about 7 years ago, and i still have that pair even though the back straps eventually had to come off. i wear them as slip ons now. that older pair was open toed and had a velcro fastening on the sides for easy on-off. this more recent pair cost me $19.99, so even though they are extremely uncomfortable, they were not worth returning. they fit well enough but the straps are phenomenally tight - and there's no way to loosen them up! the strap is all one piece! (imagine that!!!! who knew??? i didn't when i ordered them) i actually have to jam my feet into them, and then, of course, they cut into the back of my feet.
i'm still trying to stretch them out so someday i might be able to wear them for a few hours at a time. i think they'd be good if i'm going tubing (no way will they fall off my feet), but that's about it.
i don't understand why LLBean tries to improve its products (to satisfy a few folks who may have wanted closed toe sandals?) and only succeeds in creating an unsatisfactory one.

I ordered size 7, hoped they would be true to their size.They are not, I am afraid. I could hardly squeeze my foot in one sandal. I did not even unpack the second shoe, because it was useless. I would recommend half size or one size up. BUT there was a serious reason for me to give two stars only: the opening of the sandal is soooo narrow that it may be a problem to put it on even a whole size up. I decided to return. I did read some reviews that indicated the same problem. So I would suggest a zipper or shoes laces are necessary for easy put on take off. Another serious problem that I would like the company to pay attention to is: the sandal hurt my outer ankle bone. This is the second reason for me to just return and not experiment with a size up.

I really wanted these shoes to fit because I wanted a pair of closed toe sandals for a trip to FL and Europe this Spring. The padding on the heel was bent forward when the shoes arrived and because of the narrow opening to get your foot in they are very hard to get on. I will keep trying to find a pair of closed toe sandals for walking.

I was hestitant to order a 1/2 size up but was glad I did upon receipt. The shoes rub a little on the sides but so far are not uncomfortable. The padded heel cuff is nice and stays in place.
I choose these because I liked the old LL aqua sneaker/shoes without the laces. The elastic band type is the same between shoes-non lacing! Overall a good buy for the money!

This is a wonderful water shoe, but it does run narrow and short. I would put a velcro heel strap on it. The padding on the heel strap rubs, so they are going back. Love the color!
I do see that other models do have a velcro heel strap.

I bought these shoes last year and wore them right out of the box. Kayaked and hiked in Maine in them and they held up beautifully. I just bought 2 more pairs and plan on them being my all-day shoe for an upcomeing trip to Ireland !

I bought these shoes to take to Hawaii so that I could wear them in the ocean. In the airport on the way home, the back strap on one or them broke off, plus the lining in that shoe was a little lumpy. I contacted LL Bean and they immediately replaced the shoes. My new pair is wonderful - I have had no problems. While I could be upset that the original pair was faulty, I know that quality control can't be perfect and LL Bean was so fabulous about fixing the problem. I am thinking about getting a pair in another color.

Ordered an 8 1/2 and they are true to size.
I have a narrow flat foot and the arch of the sandal was the problem.
The arch area of the sandal penetrated and irritated my arch.
Tried them in the house for a couple of hours but they did not get better.
No problem getting on or off with narrow feet.
Good looking sandal but I had to return because of improper fit.
