These are very light-weight, airy shoes. No problem with any feature including the laces (which some have commented on). Because my feet are wide, I'm best with thin or no socks, and they're great. Word to those with fussy feet, these don't offer support, extra padding and are not meant for long walks.

I wanted to like these sneakers but the fit was off. The length and width were OK (7.5 M) but I felt my feet were leaning in. They are light weight and good for the summer. I got them on sale and could not have my first choice of color so settled for the silver birch which I didn't care for. They had a sort of unfashionable look. I'll continue to wear my scuffed ones with the drain holes in the bottom (not good on wet grass).

I like the sneakers very much, however they are very narrow. so if you have wide feet, this is not for you. otherwise they are light, nice and look great.

I usually love LLBean quality in shoes! But these sneakers were seemed very poor quality and were very flimsy and uncomfortable. They were also a bit too narrow for me.

The shoe seems nice but is larger than expected. I wear a 7.5 and they fit like a size 8.

they looked almost the same, and were made by ll bean. but these are hard like cardboard & not anywhere as comfortable or as well fitting. such a shame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MayInNY Nice shoes but very narrow
I liked shoes a lot, nice color, material and very light. I would say it's a perfect summer sneakers, except it's very narrow. After I read others review, I ordered a size up, 7 instead of 6.5. But it's still too narrow. I don't know what to do with it yet. I like it so much and it's so cute when just look at it. But I am afraid my feet could be hurt when I walking on them.
My feet size is normal 6.5 and I ordered some ll bean kicking boots in winter they both a little wider to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by graytona6999 Comfortable, not hot with socks, wore them all day
In these sneakers, I feel as though I'm 'walking on air'. So light and comfortable on my feet. I've been so tired of those big ole clunky sneakers. These are a great find. I'm a happy camper. Thanks, LL Bean

I was hesitant to buy these shoes because of some of the reviews, but I needed a pair of waterproof sneakers so I decided to give them a try anyway. I have VERY wide feet and was concerned that these wouldn't fit well. I ordered a half size up from my usual size and they were perfect. I used them for hiking along a path that crossed a river in several places and I never slipped on rocks or anything, the shoes held up well and were very comfortable, even when they were wet. They dried out well also. Would definitely recommend these sneakers.

I bought these sneakers to replace a very worn out pair of sneakers that were on their last leg a year ago and I'd been too lazy to replace. I'm very tough on sneakers, so I decided that maybe LL Bean was the way to go. I have other products from them that I've had for years, and I hope the sneakers will be the same! They run pretty true to size; I ordered half a size up based on the reviews, but I really didn't need to. They are very comfortable. I spend a lot of the day on my feet, and was very surprised to find that my feet didn't hurt at the end of the day like with my old shoes! There are only two drawbacks to these sneakers. The first is the design. I ordered the navy blue ones, and the white section near the laces is more prominent than I thought it would be. I feel a bit like I'm wearing spats on my shoes. Another is that they're not very thick. Obviously, they were designed for spring and summer wear!
