The pockets, the length, the fit, but most of all, the merino cotton fabric are all exactly what I was looking for. I got it in the off-white first and have come back for the gray. I'd love to add the navy but all the M's are gone. This sweater is the perfect thing for all seasons, because the merino cotton is a lightweight but warm knit. And the sweater itself is neither too light (like some of the thin linen ones) nor too heavy (like 100% scratchy wool). This knit is very soft, not scratchy at all, and very wearable. It won't catch and pull on every little thing, like the lovely linens do. I love the linen knits but they are very thin and very fragile. This sweater is the perfect combo. I also have it in a navy pullover, but I can't find that one on the website now. Do yourself a favor, and try this sweater. I don't think you'll be sorry. May 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5�by CoolUma Wrap yourself in softness Love its light weight, soft feel, and shape-retaining fit. I bought the navy to wear over a sleeveless LL Bean Signature dress. I especially like the way the neckline stays in place and the length that falls to the hips. I am in my 60s, 5'3", 135#. Bought the med but pretty sure the small would work too. Just recently been checking out the Signature line & have been very pleased. April 25, 2013

The merino cotton provides warmth and softness without adding bulk to my frame, and the navy color coordinates with almost anything. My only complaint is that the button stitching is flimsy--I had to sew the two bottom buttons back on after only wearing the cardigan a couple of times. Other than that, it is great. Here in New Zealand where merino sheep are farmed and merino is our favourite layering item in winter spring and fall! i can't believe that there are not rave reviews here??? unless it is because merino is such a rich folks secret in the states. I received this as a gift. Lucky me! Check it out folks it is the best and softest wool for layering that you will find. Ever! December 17, 2012
