When I saw reference in previous reviews to there only being a loop on one end of this "double-ended" fly line ( with a premium price), I assumed it was an oversight that would be corrected. When I went to load the line on my reel, I found no change had been made. I did manage to tie it on using an Albright knot, but it is sloppy and I'm not too confident in it. It appears to be a perfectly satisfactory line. I'll try it on the water next week in Northern New Mexico. But I feel they misrepresent the product. A loop on each end would make it easy to reverse in the field. Having to cut off and retie is a whole different situation.

The line itself is great for roll casts and even some short distance shooting. It has very low memory and is slick enough to slide through the guides nicely. Tip does not sink unless using something like a CH or BH bugger. It also gets sucked under fairly easily in a swirl or fast current. However, it is very difficult to see and I must often twist my rod in just the right direction to catch the sun and see when the line is close to my rod tip. At dusk or at night forget it. I have pulled the line through my rod tip many times.
