Remember D-cell flashlights? I do. Modern torches are lighter, smaller, brighter...better. SureFire is about the best in the biz. You get what you pay for, and that goes for the latest and greatest from the flashlight company that lit up the world a few years back. This baby is BRIGHT. Two settings, very convenient. Pros
Easily carried, quality construction, well designed.
Very versatile 2 power settings: 1st click low setting- just right for lighting the immediate area and extending battery life. 2nd Click- High Power lights up the night! Amazing output from a small package. Twist the tail cap to avoid accidental "on" during storage or travel. Will not roll away. Really like how the first click is always low setting- you know exactly what to expect.
Cons
Up front cost is higher than most lights, but after years of use it will even out.
Many things are beyond your control- being stuck in the dark should not be on the list.

Was looking to replace a flash light and have used many over the years. I chose this one because of the way it was built, very sturdy construction. Has the ability to be turned off so it cannot be turned on when not in use. It also has a low and high power function which can prolong battery life. The light beam is one of the best I have ever used. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone looking to replace a flash light.

I bought this primarily for my wife who has a hard time with really dark nights when we're camping and wanted something BRIGHT. The 6PX Pro is definitely bright. 200 lumens on the high setting (we're talking fried retinas) with 2.5 hours battery life, and 15 lumens on the low setting with 45 hours run time. In addition, it can slip easily into a pocket or pouch and seems to be pretty durable. She's happy. I'm happy she's happy. Nuff said.

Not cheap but things this well designed and built never are. Extra strong construction and the two power settings are about perfect. The 200 Lumen is really bright for distance and the 15 is perfect for navigating in the dark and much easier on the batteries, and like all good things it comes with batteries. Short size (5.2") is perfect and body diameter (1") will fit standard gun mounts if desired.

Having a nice array of vintage SureFire flashli, uh sorry, Illumination Tools I was interested in updating my EDC and backup kits. This is a good tool for every day carry although I was a bit surprised that it did not have a clip (I guess this one needs a scabbard for belt carry). Both the 15 lumen and 200 lumen beams give the classic SF light pattern with a hot spot center and even secondary dispersal of light out to the edges of the beam. This one will work fine for me as a quality backup for my other SF gear. ND

On high this lights up the night. On low setting it is very useful for lighting a path in the dark or lighting a work area. I wish Surefire made this model in yellow so that it would show up better when you lay it down.

i've never paid this much for a flashlight before so i was curious about what i'd get for my money. surprised and very satisfied! this light is perfect for when i need a little extra light but it goes beyond perfection when i need the light of the sun! i am totally astounded by the amount of light this flashlight produces. So far I am liking this unit. Love the high beam. Very bright which is what I wanted to seek out the raccoon's the raid my yard. Very easy to sight them in with my scope. It is so bright that I have a raccoon in in my headlights, they are blinded.
