When the weather is clear and cold, reach for this premium insulated jacket. Performance soft shell is quiet, wind resistant and water repellent. Hard-faced exterior deflects the elements. Articulated sleeves. Now features Primaloft Sport insulation in a zoned design with 133-gram in the body and 100-gram in the sleeves. Quilted nylon lining. Cuffs have integrated attachment system that snaps into the Basic and Technical Shells if the weather conditions worsen. Polyester/nylon. Imported. Machine wash and dry.

Rated 4 out of 5�by Outdoors907 Warm, Warm, Warm I bought this coat as my heavy layer for hunting in AK in November and boy it's warm. I carry it and only wear it when im not moving. Would be great for stand hunting or sub 0'F stalks. I purchased a tall and the sleeves are great. The coats a little on the heavy side for my taste but I recommend this if you get cold easily or hunt in all conditions. A great piece of gear to have with you if you get caught out overnight. Rated 4 out of 5�by ron45 good jacket This jacket liner is very comfortable. I've hunted with it 4 or 5 times now; it's kept me warm. The reason I gave it a 4 was that you have to line dry it. This is a very difficult process during the hunting season when I wash my clothes frequently and the outdoor temperatures are not conducive to drying. I did sweat walking 1/2 mile+ to my stand. I may need to readjust my layering. December 18, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by texanviamaine Excellent hunting gear I bought the entire big game system (technical jacket, pants, mid-weight liner and the heavyweight liner. I have now used all the pieces to this system since we had a cold spell and it got into the 20's. I have a medical condition that makes me get a lot colder than most people and have been looking for years for something I could easily change out the pieces for varying degrees of warmth. The jacket liners zip in and out with quick ease and attach well with the small snaps at the sleeves and neck area. The pieces are very well constructed and comfortable. There is lots of pocket space and they all have zippers that work well and are easy to access for hunting gear. You can pull the hood tight around your head and there is a small soft "bill" like a ball cap that slightly sticks out to help shed rain from your face. I was very warm in 20 degree weather with the heavy weight liner and the rest of the system. I did also have on a base layer and secondary layer underneath the jacket and pants. I am female and bought a size M knowing I would wear a base layer and a secondary layer underneath it a lot of the time. It is true to size and gives you the movement you need when walking, stalking game or just trying to get in and out of a deer blind. All pieces are soft and quiet. The jacket has good non-slip material on the shoulders so your rifle sling does not slip off and stays in place. I am very happy with this system and it has made my hunting season much more comfortable. Thanks LL Bean once again! November 13, 2012
