Bought this jacket as a gift for my husband. So, this is his comment: Excellent jacket--high visibility when walking our Black Lab in the dark. Arms zip on and off very easily--there is no right or left side when putting them on. Pocket in back is convenient for holding gloves and warm hat. Very light weight --- wind proof. Unique and conforms with everything advertised---in other words: he loves it~.

My boyfriend wanted a jacket for bike riding. I ordered a XXL and he couldn't zip it up, it was too small. I have ordered LL Bean t-shirts for him in XXL and they fit great. The quality of the jacket looked good. We would have gotten a bigger size but XXL is the largest size Bean offers.

This is a Christmas gift for son-in-law. I opened to check it out; it is just as good as its description. The size is on the mark - I wasn't sure to buy "big" or buy his actual size "M." I took a chance and got the medium. Looks perfect.(My husband had told me LLBean sizes were predictable; he's correct on this one.) All the "nooks and crannies" are amazing--pockets/zippers, etc. I have no doubt he will like it.

Rated 5 out of 5áby RWM2 Excellent bike jacket
The Canari jacket exceeded my expectations. The fabric is very tightly woven, light weight and exceptionally wind resistant for the thickness of the fabric. A fleece lining at the collar is comfortable and helps seal off drafts at the neck. The pockets are well placed and good size for a variety of necessities. The back pouch/pocket is big enough to carry food and water. Turning the back pocket inside out reveals a waist belt that converts the jacket into a neat waist pack for carrying. Very well designed and it appears to be well made.

Rated 4 out of 5áby LLBeaninParadise beautiful product - runs small
I purchased this item in XXL for my 6' 240# bicycling enthusiast husband. As with many bike jackets, this one ran small through the shoulders. The sleeve length and waist were adequate, but range-of-motion was limited because of the tight fit across the shoulders. If I had purchased this jacket for a smaller-framed guy, I would have given it a 5-star rating. Beautifully made item.

My wife and I both wear these jackets, although they are advertised as for men (she a small, me a medium). We have two sets of them, one each of which we keep at a vacation home.
Light in weight, they are perfect for our bicycling in cool or windy weather. They are surprisingly warm in windy conditions, yet by unzipping partially and/or removing the zippered sleeves one can adjust your body warmth and comfort. Unzipped sleeves fit in rear pocket.
These jackets are a great value and are highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5áby smedconsult Nice features, not as windproof as I'd hoped
Great fit! And I love the fact that you can take off the sleeves so it's a vest as things warm up. This jacket does cut the wind, but I found it to be not as windproof as I had hoped, especially around the armpits. Could be either the zippers on the sleeves or more generous venting on the back than I had expected.

I have had this jacket for about a year. It is one of my favorite pieces of cycling clothing. On cool mornings I start with the jacket on, then when it warms up off come the sleeves. They fit nicely in the back zippered pocket. If it gets even warmer, off comes the vest.It turns into a fanny pack.
I wear it as a vest very often. Sometimes as an outer layer, sometimes under a heavier soft-shell jacket. I went with the Hi-Viz and it is bright.
Know it is a windbreaker with vents and not a breathable jacket. It breathes enough for me because my cool weather rides are usually 40 miles or less. It is not very waterproof, it will just protect you from a sprinkle. Any real rain and you'll be wet.
Finally sizing. I am 6'1'' and 235. I have a long torso. The XXL fits with room to layer.
