Rated 4 out of 5�by QuicheLorraine Compact & lightweight, perfect to take everywhere I got this to scope out new photography opportunities while traveling or for sporting events and it's perfect for that, but now I leave it in my car or purse so I can see traffic jam problems close up, watch things discreetly from a distance, etc. I find myself using it all the time! Its so easy to carry but still powerful enough. April 24, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by HumanBean280 Good Enough Have been using this monocular on a few weekend outings and it has proven to be what it is: small, compact, easy to use. Used it bird watching, keeping an eye on my kids in the park, reading signs as a mass transit passenger and as a help navigating while a tourist. As other customers have noted, it's not the highest quality but for the relatively low price, it's good enough. If I lost it or cracked the lense, it's not too big of a loss. For me, this monocular is just what I needed. March 27, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5�by Moire monocular Glad I didn't spend alot for this monocular, as it barely works. It reminds me of a toy you get at the five&dime store. The clarity is muted and hazy and it takes both hands to focus on near or far. Maybe I got a defective item, based on other reviews. But not sending it back, as it will cost shipping and it's not worth the potential of getting another like this. March 20, 2013

I am surprised at how far I can see and how clear the view is. It might not work for serious technical users but it is perfect for me and fits in my vest just right. Really cool and handy item - nice price as well. I will be watching the birds out my office window in the spring with this gadget without drawing attention to my wandering eyes. May have to get another. January 3, 2013

This is small enough to carry in your purse or pocket but yet has a decent magnification. It also has a neck or wrist carry strap. Looking forward to using it on our next trip. December 26, 2012
