We purchased a month ago specifically for Disney. Worked perfectly. Very light weight and easy to carry. Held quite a bit in the main compartment and the small zippered compartments were great for lip balm, medicine etc. The zipper on the large compartment was near the top of the bag which made me feel more secure about being tampered with in line. The open pocket on the front was useful to us as this held sun block and misc items that we needed more often. Although some complained about this pocket, it was nice not to unzip every time. The bottle storage was fantastic especially in 95 degree weather. Stores easily and lays completely flat.

Bought this for our Disney trip. Worked out great. Light enought that you don't get extra hot under it, and it held snacks, drinks and rain jackets for the day.
Only complaint is that the water bottle mesh pockets on teh outside were a bit too short to hold the bottle sin well. We had 24 oz sport bottles and they slipped out of the pockets sometimes.

I liked the previous model better because you could place your windbreaker in front and it would be held in by the crisscrossed ties. The open pouch is not neat. There should be a piece of Velcro in the center at the top to fasten it to the bag. We purchased two day bags and neither my husband nor I like the open front pouch.
If you make the correction, let us know and we will return our bags for the modified model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolCola Lightweight yet sturdy & comfortable
I have several day packs, but this one is my favorite. My netbook fits in perfectly, the strap across the chest is adjustable up & down rather than just around, so I don't end up with it under my chin , choking me ( which another of my packs does, unfortunately.) I use this pack every day to tote my stuff to the library & it never feels too tight or too heavy. My only improvement would be to put some cinch ties on the side pockets as stuff can fall out.

This is the day pack we have been looking for. Used it yesterday for a grandsons field trip. It is just the right size for camera rain gear lunch, etc. The front pocket is open but I am going to apply Velcro so things won't fall out. The two zipper pockets on the front are perfect for your wallet and keys. The straps are adjustable so my 6'3" hubby had no problem wearing it. Perfect for travel because it lays completely flat. I also ordered the pocket pack at the same time but the Stowaway is so much sturdier, but still only weighs 14 oz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KJane Fabulous day pack for travel
I recently went on a trip that combined business with vacation, and I wanted a day pack for the vacation part of the trip but didn't have much room in my luggage. This day pack was perfect: It is small and lightweight enough to fit easily in your luggage, but is well made, has lots of pockets in very convenient places, and is comfortable to wear. I highly recommend it!

I bought this bag to stow in my bike pannier as part of my commuting kit. I can keep a few things in the backpack, then leave my bike and heavier stuff in the bike locker when I hop on the train. The bag is light and versatile, and has just the right number of pockets. I also plan to take this as a day pack on my self-supported bike tours...great for short day hikes!
