My husband is very pleased with the mosquito head net, which he uses almost daily for work in yard and gathering berries:
"Works great ? I'm not bugged anymore."

by OrinK3 Seems OK after four 2-4 hr testing periods.
BUT... I WOULD STILL PREFER TO HAVE IT IN CAMO netting so that my face will appear more broken up than it does under the solid black netting of this product. See how the netting also appears against the background. See attached photo... and, YES, YES, the Insect Guard is still the most important feature. It Does Not fit Well over my hat. My neck is exposed about two inches at front and back with this Camo full- brimmed hat. I imagine my baseball caps would be OK. All Camo gear is permethrin-coated, 60 washings limit. So is this headnet, but it could be 3 inches longer to cover my neck area. Also use Picaridin for hands and neck. EXCELLENT for TICK AND MOSQUITO-FREE Birding, Hunting, Canoeing, etc. Thanks , Orin in northern Illinois

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nren Great for horseback riding
I got this in black fly season for trail riding. It is excellent! It is light and flexible, fits over my helmet, with plenty of room left at the bottom to keep the bugs from creeping underneath. Good visibility through it, too. I am sure it will be equally good in deer fly season.

Purchased this netting to go with the Aussie Breezer Hat. I have other hats with bug repellent, but one is a "floppy" style which works but needs a netting, another is only one with a baseball style brim. With this netting and the stiff brim on the Aussie hat, the bugs should stay away from my face. The netting fits all the way down to my shoulders with room to spare. I have not had occasion to use it outdoors, but I know the repellent does work. This netting appears to be small enough to keep gnats away too.

Fall evenings around here are gnat swarm time. On about any bicycle trail I ride; I end up riding through several swams which means in the mouth, eyes, nose, and ears. This has been one of the most enjoyable cycling purchases I have made. It may not look sleek, but I have had several comments about how it looked like a great idea. It works perfectly, I go through a cloud of these gnats and they hit and bounce off an don't bother me at all. Thanks (BTW - I instantly ordered 2 more for backup)

It may not look very chic, but it's very effective. I've used it to prevent gnats, mosquitos, et al from getting to me.

Inexpensive, compact, no more mosquito bites to the bald pate, no gnats up the nose, no dive bombers in the ears. Free to go outdoors again without swatting, cursing and fleeing back to the house. Can now take long walks on country roads year round with pleasure.

I love this net, if you're like me and get frustrated with bug sprays not working and you've even tried that DEET that made you're lips completely numb and STILL got bugs dive bombing your face..... then please. Try this! I'm 34, love to hike, and my friends all made fun of me for wearing this over my hat. But when the deer flies came out... guess who was laughing then? This net is perfect, it does the job and makes it fun to hike again! I'm buying more for my friends and family.

Works great, , I wore a ball cap, a wide brim hat may work better.

Fantastic. Does what it's supposed to without taking up any appreciable space in your pack.
