Rated 4 out of 5 by Moosejp Great upland glove
Just came back from opening day pheasant in South Dakota. This glove preformed well in numerous conditions. The weather varied from 30 degrees to 78 degrees. The glove was comfortable throughout this range. I found the fit to be perfect.

Great grip, great flexibility, and just the right weight for shotgun OR rifle hunting.

The gloves are not only not waterproof (or resistant) but do absorb water. The construction and material do not afford any insulation at all. In wet weather the overall performance is unsatisfactory. I might have recognized this from the details but I didn't. They are great gloves for driving in mild weather but that is not what I wanted. The result is my poor choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ceasersalad I finally wore them out!!
After manually loading and unloading 7 tons (350 blocks) of sandstone my gloves have finally started showed wear at the fingertips! These gloves easily outlasted 4 pairs of leather gloves. I have used them in the garden when digging and weeding whilst they have been wringing wet and they are still comfortable and very protective. They have lasted me 6 months of sustained hard use!
Highly recommended, when I get my next pair I might even use them to go hunting!!!!

These gloves are too short in the wrist. The XL is too small for my long skinny fingers (no XXL available) and the material in the palm bunches up when I make a fist. The material is rugged and should protect from briars. Bean's old black upland gloves were a better fit and product. Sending these gloves back.

I really like these gloves. Great fit and feel. Nice color combo.
I would prefer the cuffs to be about an inch longer to cover wrists better.

Used these all season in thick woods, briars, and blackberry thickets. They held up well with only a few noticeable snags. They are plenty warm and allow good feel for the gun. My thumb does slide inside the glove with a tang mounted safety, but not enough to cause any problems.

I think these gloves first class. I would like it better if they were a little longer. They have good grip on the shotgun. And also have good protection, and feel.

I do a good deal of pheasant hunting in the briar chocked swamps of southeastern Massachusetts. These gloves fit so well they're the reason for the cliche. They're warm against the damp morning frost and wicked tough in the brush. I can still negotiate the trigger guard and safety as easily as with bare hands. I love these so much that my father and brothers can look forward to getting their own pairs for Christmas!
