Rated 5 out of 5 by DuneDiva Exactly what I wanted!
I purchased this jacket for a white water rafting trip. The long term weather forecast for the day of our trip was the low 70s with rain. That sounded cold to me, so I started looking for something else I could wear. Based on the other reviews, I ordered a size following the posted size chart, a large. Perfect fit. At first, I was worried the fit was too tight, so I kept trying it on and read all the reviews I could find. It is supposed to fit snug, but it was not stifling. I wore the jacket with a bikini top and a short sleeved rash guard shirt. I could completely move my arms without any pulling at the seams. Yes, I was worried when the jacket was completely zipped that the neck would bother me, but i never tugged at it all day. I was so glad I made this purchase. I was never chilled even though I was wet for 5 hours.

There is a tag on the suit that gives height, weight and bust measurements. According to this I did the right thing sizing up to a large at 5'9" and 36B and 145 lbs. There is no way I could have zipped a medium up. The large was VERY snug around the waist; almost too tight when not wet. Yes, like another poster mentioned it did ride up a bit in the water around the waist but the shoulders, chest, etc. were a perfect fit and I just had to occasionally pull it down. The sleeves do run short on this jacket though. I would still size up or try two sizes and return one.

I am so glad I got the NRS Hydroskin. I went snorkeling in 18C waters and felt very comfortable. However, I disagree that this should be sized up. These suits are to fit snugly so that water will not flow easily through. My mistake was to size up based on the reviews here. Therefore, the suit would "open up" at the belly area. If I had been in colder waters, I would have felt cold. For this reason, I would say this product is true to size. I will be buying another one in my true size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CorollaQueen nice jacket but bad fit
I really wanted this to fit because it is just what I was looking for, but no luck. The sleeves were very tight (and too long even though I am average height) and I couldn't zip it up even after ordering one size up. The jacket is straight, with no flare to accomodate hips. It would probably fit someone taller and thinner without many curves.

The wet suit jacket is fantastic! Easy to get on and off. The other reviews from others were helpful with the sizing. This jacket kept me warm and able to do my workout without getting chilled anymore. Very happy.

fit well; comfortable. I wear a size 4 and the small was the appropriate fit.

This is an amazing jacket. I use it to paddle surf, and it is just what I wanted. A full wet suit is too much, and too much work to get on and off. This zip up jacket is easy, warm, and fits perfectly!

I am 4' 11" and 126 pounds. The fit is perfect. It keeps me warmer next to my skin and my bathing suit is on top. I wished that the wrist was more elastic so there was not an opening for the water. I use it for water aerobics. I can feel the warmth when the sun shines on me.

This jacket is too long for me. There should be more options such as petite. It is more of a man's shape than a woman's.
It does seem to work as a light wetsuit.

I am 5'7" and weigh 170, I bought the extra large, it is snug out of water, but looser when in water, I probably would have done better with the large. It is high quality and keeps in warm in water areobics classes love it
