The shirt arrived very wrinkled - hung it on a hanger - no change. Decided to wash it and see if the wrinkles lessened and became acceptable to me. Still not up to my expectations. Unfortunately, I am returning both shirts and am very disappointed as I was looking forward to Bean's quality and claims to be wrinkle resistant. The fit was great - just too wrinkled for me.

I bought this shirt on a Daily Markdown. It goes well with a sport jacket or a sweater. The fit is great and I was pleased with the material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Slowflyer I own several of these
Typical of an LL Bean shirt, I find the sizing to be generous, and I buy the Tall for the length of the arms. The colors are great and the material is very comfortable. I agree with other reviewers that the material is flimsy, and that is one reason they are not very wrinkle resistant. I iron these when I wear them to work for business casual day. For non business, I wash, and hang warm with the collar buttoned. They still come out wrinkled, but not too badly and they smooth out a little when you wear them. The solid color twill sport shirts are twice as thick, and they are a little more wrinkle resistant.

This is a nice casual button down shirt. I purchased the yellow version and like it a lot on a casual day in the office under a blue blazer.

Very dissapointed in the shirt material and it is not wrinkle free. The material is like something from a lesser class of store. I have purchased many many shirts and order two in different colors and if I hadn't washed them first I would have returned them.

Nice shirt, but after one washing, it shrank so much I couldn't wear it. Bought a medium, fit well, though a little tight, but after one washing, the sleeves were three inches too short, the whole shirt so tight it wouldn't button. Very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Memphismuzikman GREAT BUT THOUGHT CLOTH WOULD BE HEAVIER
This is a great and comfortable shirt. I found it came out of the dryer virtually wrinkle free. I thought the cloth would be a heavier weight but this is a great shirt for the workplace which is the reason for the purchase. A great value for the price.

One of my prime reasons for ordering this particular shirt was because it was advertised as being wrinkle resistant. It isn't. I washed it, dried it on low setting, hung it up straight from the dryer and it looks like someone slept in it. It will have to be ironed.

LL Bean makes some wonderful, long-sleeve men's shirts - and my husband owns many. Unfortunately, all of them are dress shirts because they come in specific neck/sleeve sizes.
My husband wears a 16.5 / 32 dress shirt. Even a Medium in this shirt (and other Bean S/M/L/XL long-sleeve sport shirts) is about 1.5 inches too long in the sleeve. While he can roll up the cuff if he's being very casual, if he's wearing a jacket or sport coat, that's not a feasible option.
I liked the teal blue color in this shirt so much that I actually contemplated altering the sleeves. After a bit of thought, however, I decided that shortening the cuff placket wasn't going to work and it was far too much work to reset the shoulder seam.
Here's my suggestion, dear LL Bean: offer your long-sleeve sport shirts with sleeve length options (short, medium, long). I'm quite sure that my husband isn't the only man out there with a thick neck and stubby arms!
