+ great waders fished 38 degree water stayed warm. Make sure you pick the correct size, shoe size is true but body size has to be tried on. Remember you probably will be bulking up on clothes. I am 6 feet 175 ponds and went to a large king, hard to believe, needed the room for extra clothes in cold weather The - , suspenders nylon webbing for adjustment is not long enough sales person agreed and said they have told this to the company several times with no results You can lengthen them out yourself like I finally did but not necessary if ll bean would listen to their experienced sales people and their customers and finally correct this. They are pricy but in this case you get a great product compared to what is out there and you cannot beat the service from this company they will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied and their sales people are experienced in the departments unlike in other stores

I have used these twice so far in the ocean along the RI coast. The water and air have been cool this October. I am very sensitive to the cold so I was worried about being uncomfortable. I was very warm.
Since I am not a hunter, I was looking for non camouflage in 5 mm or thicker. I also wanted to maximize the amount of thinsulate in the boots. After checking many other options, these were the few that met my needs.
I contacted LL Bean after making the purchase to confirm that they come with the wading belt, they do. Very easy to contact customer service online.
I am very happy with my purchase and love the guarantee from LL Bean. Now if I can just start catching some striped bass.

Excellent fit. Nice warmth for the cool waters of Lake Superior and its tributaries. Flexible enough you can move well. Really like the pockets for your hands.

I just got these and used them for the second time in 36* water and I love them. They fit nice (ordered 1 size bigger in foot size). Ive been using the LL Bean Breathables throughout the winter Striper fishing and every time about an hour into it my feet would be freezing but pushed through it because Im a mad fisherman. With these I couldnt even tell I was in the water. They have also been lucky as as soon as I put them on the fishing really turned on! LOL Just knowing that for any reason I can return these as I did with the Breathables when I had an accident and tore them and they had new 1's at my door in 3 days I will never shop anywhere else for anything that I can get here. Honestly if every place on Earth was like LL Bean it would be a much happier existence! Thanks LL Bean, Ill never stray! Now I have 2 pairs of LL Beans, 1 for cold and 1 for the rest of the year.

I just returned from the Salmon River NY, Steelhead fishing. Hadn't been up there in twenty years. It goes without saying that the equipment has changed for that type of fishing. The waders were warm even in the 34 degree water while it was 27 degrees air temp. The only mistake made was not ordering them in a larger foot size to accommadate warmer socks and to allow more space.

First off I'll say that I have not had these waders long so I cannot attest to their durability over the long term which is the only reason I have not given them 5 stars. I bought these waders for winter/early spring steelhead fishing. After absolutely freezing my feet off in a non-Beans pair of stocking foot neoprenes I realized the way to go was boot foot neoprenes. The 5mm neoprene and 1000mg Thinsulate boots in these waders kept me toasty warm all day long in 34 degree water... I didn't even feel the water. They seem like they are very good quality and after a 3 day trip I am very happy with them so far. Boots seem solid and grip pretty well. We'll have to see how well they hold up over the years. However I know that if there are any problems Beans will take care of me as they always have in the past!
