I have only taken it out once but the bike ride was smooth and comfortable. Instructions were clear. Gears worked smooth. I think the bike was priced right.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Gasport Did not work as expected.
Purchased the Acadia Cruiser to use while recovering from shoulder surgery. Needed a stable bike and this looked like it would work.
Assembly was okay but not as easy as stated. The cable for the rear derailleur was not bent and rubbed against the crank arm and had to be bent to stop the rubbing. The real problem initially was with the seat. I noticed a squeaking in the seat after a few rides and it just became more noticeable as time went on. I called service and they were great and sent me a new seat. I installed this and again I had the same problem. This time the service people sent me a different brand seat and seat post and that did the trick.
I also have a grinding noise coming from the rear gear area. The only gear that I can ride in and not hear the grinding sound is the next to highest gear. As the bike is geared rather low, I do not use many of the gears as there are not enough hills around where I bike to have to downshift into the lower gears. This is rather annoying and I have been unable to pinpoint the exact cause. The nearest LLBean Store is 45 plus miles so bringing back to have it fixed is not an easy option. I suspect I will have to bring it to a local bike store and have it checked out. Unfortunately, I will wind up having to pay to get the problem resolved.
Other than this, the bike is stable, rides nicely, and the gears are easy to shift. If it were not for these problems I would give it a higher rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NorthTexan54 Very nice bike
We purchased this bike recently while it was on sale for 20% off and also used our coupons, so we got it at a very good price.
We ordered it by phone on a Monday night and received it via FedEx the following Tuesday. It arrived in good shape and took about an hour to assemble. The only problem I had was mounting the front wheel/tire. After disconnecting the front brake cable, attaching the wheel/tire, and trying to re-connect the brake cable, I couldn't get it back in, so I had to loosen the other brake cable to get the first cable reconnected, but this was not a big problem.
We bought this bike for my wife and I both to ride. We may get another one in the future. We bought the large size. I am 6' tall and my wife is 5'8" and it fits us both.
It rides very smoothly. All the gears work and it shifts easily, although there is slight "chatter" when the rear derailleur is on "4." The upright ride takes some getting used to after riding a mountain bike, but it is more comfortable me, now that I'm in my late 50's.
I have ridden it only on paved roads so far, but look forward to taking it on some smooth trails to see how it performs. Very pleased so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cruzer61 Nice Bike But
Nice Bike--however, when I opened the Box to assemble it, I couldn't even begin Step One because the Quick-release Front Skewer didn't have the adjusting nut and the springs were not even on it. I had to call the toll-free number to get a complete skewer in order to put on the front wheel! The correct part came two days later and the assembly was then a breeze. I can't believe such an important part was not originally in the parts box--someone didn't pay attention to their "check list."

Rated 5 out of 5 by BridgeofFlowers Lovin It!
Just got back from my first extended ride and I'm loving the ability of this Crusin' style bike to sit upright. My 50-year old body is just not equipped to be hunched over any more.
When the box arrived, I was initially intimidated by the "warnings" from the manufacturer (Schwinn) saying that you needed a pile of tools that I did not have and that they recommended having a professional bike shop put it together. In the end, none of this turned out to be true--it went together easily and only required a 6mm Allen wrench, an adjustable wrench for the pedals, and a screwdriver for the reflectors. All the difficult stuff was pre-assembled. Took about 90 minutes but I went methodically.
It does seem to me that it would make sense for the bike to come packaged with the needed 6mm Allen wrench. Add that to your to-do list LL Bean. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bread11 Great bike!
I was looking for a reliable bike to ride around town and also on trails like the ones found in Acadia. This bike does both with ease!
I've never had anything go wrong and have had mine for over a year now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NMJim Great bike for the price
As the title says, this is a great bike for the price. Going into the middle gear on the front derailer is a bit clunky/problematic, but otherwise it shifts really smooth. Assembly is straightforward, you just need an M6 Allen wrench and a crescent wrench. The seat and handlebars are quite comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NatureLover1960 Perfect Bike for this season in my life!
Recieved this bike for my Mother's Day Gift. I am 6ft and ordered the bike according to my height. My husband put it together for me without a problem. It came via UPS very quickly and nicely packed. We both used to belong to a local bike club in our 20's and would ride 50-100miles/day on a lighter racing bike and I wanted to get back to riding again after 30yrs and this was the perfect bike. Nice quality. Now if I can only get it back from my daughter who also rides it! Great gift for yourself and your HEALTH!

Needed a fairly basic but well made bike to use primarily for level bike path riding for exercise. Have not risen since childhood. This bike is well made and sturdy (I weigh 250#) and goes well. Not terribly fast even in top gear but not really a problem since I am not racing anyone. I am pleased with it and would recommend. Assembly was easy and pretty obvious.
