Rated 4 out of 5 by Tdarlyn Very comfortable and easy to ride.
Watch how you change gears. Don't go from one extreme to the next. Be sensible in shifting. It' a great ride. Comfortable seat and comfortable ride. I love it.

I purchased this bike during a pre-summer sale LL Bean was having online, slightly concerned despite the other positive reviews, that buying a bike online would be a mistake.
It wasn't. This bike is comfortable, smooth, and works well on paved road and dirt trails. I am 5'6" and opted for the medium size frame because I have a short waist and long legs. Fits great. I like the larger, anatomically correct seat and that the handlebars are adjustable during assembly, so you can find the tilt you prefer.
I assembled the bike myself; it took about 1.5 hours total as I know nothing about the technical aspects of bicycles. The directions try to be clear but the visuals that accompany them are difficult to see detail. I took it slow, reviewed the online directions as they are in colour and I could probably do it in 30 mins now that I've done it once.
Great economic purchase for the recreational rider!

I got this bike for my 53rd birthday and LOVE it!! I ride every chance I get and have been able to put 100 miles on it already! I like my position when riding and don't have any shoulder or neck pain after riding 34 miles on a bike trail! The seat is very comfortable too. I would recommend this bike to anyone!

I am delighted with the performance and light weight qualities of my new Acadia Cruiser--recreational bike.
The dual suspension, easy choice of gears on the handle bars and smooth ride are wonderful.
I would highly recommend this bike to any recreational rider!

It was recommended by a co-worker when I asked for a "built for comfort not for speed" transport and this was the perfect fit. My husband and I went into the bike and ski store and was helped by Becky and Adrian. What a team!! They know their products, and I was helped immediately. Great job!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by rosins4rock Not for tall women!
I was so excited to get this bike...I have a pain disorder and thought biking gently on a well-make comfy bike might help a lot. I am 5'10" and got the largest size possible, which supposedly would fit women up to 6' tall. Wrong. The pedals and handlebars were so close together that I though I was riding a 10 year old's bike. We tried adjusting the seat and it broke off. We ended up taking it to a bike repair shop, paid another $100 to get the seat repaired, and I ended up giving it to my son's girlfriend, who is all of 5'4" tall. Fits her like a dream. THIS BIKE IS NOT DESIGNED FOR TALL WOMEN...BEWARE OF THE SIZE SPECS!!! Otherwise it's a great bike and she loves it. The one star is for my disappointment.

Love the bike, especially the option to customize the frame size. It does take some practice to learn the gears.
It was very easy to put together, no problems.
Customer service at LLb is the greatest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Springbeaner Just right for me
I sold my wonderful old Gitane a few years ago at a yard sale and really thought that was it for me and riding. Now, about to turn 65, I'm happily gliding along again. I'm 5'3" and chose the XS - it's a good fit for me. The handlebars are very comfortable and don't bother the wrist with carpal-tunnel syndrome. Glad to have changed my mind about biking and really looking forward to autumn when all these vacationers are off the road - but it's also very easy to move over to the grass when I hear them behind me!

If you are an online shopper call Henry in the Bike Department for advice on what size bike to purchase. He was extremely helpful.
The Arcadia Cruisier is the right fit for me. The design allows me to sit in a comfortable upright positon. The handlebars are high enough that I don't have to bend my wrists.
The bike is good looking (Pearl). People stop me and comment on cool it looks.
