Rated 5 out of 5áby Snowfairy More than a sleeping bag
I was unfamiliar with the Big Agnes brand before this purchase, but I like their ideas. The bag has a pouch on the back to insert your sleep pad. That way you both move together and no rolling off your pad in the middle of the night.
I didn't originally buy the petite sleeping bag because I wanted the Big Agnes Insulated Double Z Airpad which I assumed was made for the bag I was purchasing. I ended up returning the regular sized bag and the pad after putting them together in my living room and doing some online research. The bag is a rectangle and the pad LL Bean sells is a mummy shape. They are not designed to go together. Big Agnes makes a Petite bag (which LL Beans sells) and petite pad, which I found elsewhere and purchased.
Unless you are petite or want the matching pad than this bag is wonderful and I recommend it from LL Bean.

Rated 1 out of 5áby AlwaysHiking Good idea, bad execution
Big Agnes Sleeping Bag with sleeping mat envelope. This was a good idea and alot of people praised the idea because it means not slipping off the mat. However, because the mat is attached to the bag, the bag does not mold around the body. Instead the mat causes the bag to act like a tent over the body, creating air pockets on either side of the body. This is not ideal in cold weather. I tested this bag on the Inca Trail in Peru and ditched the mat envelope by the second night. Also, the material between the mat and body is way too thin and extremely uncomfortable against the skin. There needs to be some extra padding. For this idea to work, there needs to be an extra liner in the bag that molds to the body. Also, when the mat was attached, it was impossible to sit up in the bag without completely unzipping it. This product may work in warm weather when you do not need the bag to mold around the body, but in cold weather it does not perform. I am returning this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5áby COcampermom Great bag for CO outdoor girl Camper
My 11 year old daughter took this sleeping bag with her for a month at Camp in Colorado. She had 3 and 4 night overnights (climbed 2 14ers) and this sleeping bag kept her warm and cozy even at high altitude in cold weather. The best features are the built in, attached water proof pouch for a pillow and also a sleeve on the bottom of the bag for a sleeping pad. Awesome product!

My wife who is an experienced backpacker used this bag for one night on a beautiful 38F night in the Smokys wearing fleece tops and bottoms and wool socks. She could not get warm. I was in a 20 year old North Face bag rated for 35 and was toasty. The good features are that it is cut for a woman and has a pocket to hold a sleeping pad. Big Agnes makes nice gear but this bag doesn't cut it. I have seen reviews on other sites as well saying the rating isn't right.
