I gave this to my husband who loves it. He said it kept his tea hot for hours. Its light-weight and fits easily into his briefcase. He said the drinking spout is very easy to use as well.

This is the second one of these I bought as a gift. It holds coffee hot for a long time. Nice feature is the pop up access ability. Also like a cover to keep the top clean. The only issue is the pop up piece can come unscrewed and cause leakage..as long as you check it periodically..it's an awesome beverage holder. I would have given it a 5 star except the loosening piece,which isn't a huge deal..but good to know.. it does help to have it loosen to clean though....but otherwise you'll love it..

I really like my new Bean Canteen except for one thing. The drink holes are too wide. When I take a drink it kind of covers too much territory and leaks around the edges of my mouth. No big problem as I only use it for water, but I always have to wipe the excess water from my mouth after I take a drink.
If I put cold water in the canteen it stays cold for hours, even if I leave it in a hot car while I go in and shop. I really like having a nice cold sip waiting for me when I get back to my hot car. And it's really nice looking.
It is a two handed process to unscrew and hold onto the lid and the canteen and push the button to open the canteen. Wouldn't work great if you were on the run or if you already have something in your hand. The canteen is not contoured for easy gripping but is small enought to get your hand around.

I just purchased a new one to keep as a back up to one I've had for several years. This is the only mug I've ever owned that keeps it's promises! I bring it with me to the pool daily and my ice cubes never melt! I've had ice cubes remain up to 13 hours after putting them in my cold drinks. On the hot side, it doesn't fare quite as well but keeps coffee hot for at least 3 hours and warm for another 4 or so. At that point, who wants to dring old coffee anyway? It's also the only mug I've owned with removable insides so that you can get at the sipping mechanisms and clean them out thoroughly.
A must have for travel or a day at the beach/pool!!!!!!!

This coffee container keeps my coffee hot all day. I love it so much that I gave it as Christmas presents to my fellow teachers and they loved it so much, they ordered it for their friends and family. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. Just be careful the first time you use it, your coffee will be hotter then you expect!

I have had a lot of insulated mugs and thermos over the years but never one that held the heat as this one does. I am overjoyed at it's quality and ease of use also. I took it, full of hot coffee, on a short road trip last week and 5 hours later my coffee was still drinkable. Not hot, no, but definitely plenty warm enough to drink - and I really hate luke warm coffee. This was remarkable. I am more than pleased and have told several friends about this. One has already purchased one. Great things come from LL Bean!!!

Keeps drinks hot or cold for hours (I've gone to bed at night and still had ice in my drink in the morning). It fits in all my packs' bottle pockets, even with the cozy surrounding it. Mine have survived falls and stumbles down hillsides with only scratches. Also great for travel, to boil water in hotels in developing countries. One suggestion for re-design: put a hole in the cap's edge for a ring, so that we can clip the cap to our pack. I always worry that I'll misplace it on the trail.
