I was satisfied with the purchase. The only issue was with fit. They seemed a bit lopsided and I had to take them to a local optometrist to help with the fitting.

I ordered these bifocal sunglasses to replace the exact same pair I've been wearing for the past year. One of the temples/arms of my previous pair fell off in the middle of a road trip. When I brought the glasses to a local optical shop I was surprised to learn they could not be repaired. Apparently a whole new temple/arm would be needed due to the unique design of the frames. I had many hours of road travel remaining and needed quality bifocal sunglasses in order to be able to see my maps, iPhone, etc. I called LL Bean and ordered a replacement pair for delivery to my hotel. It arrived the next day! In summary, I love the lenses but am disappointed in the design quality of the frames.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Badyoga useful and look good but...
I got these several years ago...I like the coverage and the look...the polarizing..The thing I don't like is the reading 'lens' part is a plastic glued-on piece and even when I first got it a line bothered me ...but it was too sunny where I live (high desert) and I didn't want to wait for another pair (that may have the same problem)
My older model of LLBEAN Performance ones had the lens cut-- not the plastic press on lens.
Before I got another pair I would find out if the bifocal lens was glued-on or actually cut. The later is superior, it seems to stay cleaner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by deltapsi73 Really great sunglasses!
These glasses are so helpful to someone who must wear reading glasses. No more switching from sunglasses to regular ones every time I have to read directions or look at a map. I would agree with other reviewers that they are a little wide. They stay on my face fine but I can't push them on my head when running indoors; they fall off. Slight price to pay for great glasses though.

I ordered these for a friend. She tried them on and they fell off. They fit me; I'm a 185 pound male. They are much too large for a woman. I plan to keep them for myself.

Sturdy but too big, bifocals did not line up as a result. Returned

I love these glasses. I am so happy with the quality and style. Its great to be at a sporting event and be able to read programs, et. without having to change glasses. I also love the shape/style!

I don't know how I ever lived without these. Before ordering these glasses, I would have to take off my sunglasses and put on my reading glasses to read a map, my phone, or a menu, or even take a picture with my camera. It is true that the reading portion of the lens is very low, so you have to look way down to read anything. However, this means I can wear these glasses hiking or skiing or doing any other active sport where I have to look down occasionally. I can look down at my feet or the ground without looking through the reading lens. So, it is true that sitting and reading a book would be uncomfortable in these glasses, but if you're out there doing something active, or even just doing errands around town, and you want to read a text on your phone or take a picture, then these glasses are perfect!

Love these sun/reading glasses! This is the 4th pair I have had - my fault, broke a side bow on 2 pair, someone stepped on the 3rd pair. Had the tortoise shell color before, this time the womens dark purple/pink ones. Very comfortable and really cut the sun and glare.

Overall I am pleased with the glasses, which I purchased mainly for bicycling on sunny days. They work well; I can read notes and signs with the medium magnification I chose. However, they are looser than I would like and a big large for my small face. There was no choice of sizes for women.
