Sturdy but too big, bifocals did not line up as a result. Returned

I love these glasses. I am so happy with the quality and style. Its great to be at a sporting event and be able to read programs, et. without having to change glasses. I also love the shape/style!

I don't know how I ever lived without these. Before ordering these glasses, I would have to take off my sunglasses and put on my reading glasses to read a map, my phone, or a menu, or even take a picture with my camera. It is true that the reading portion of the lens is very low, so you have to look way down to read anything. However, this means I can wear these glasses hiking or skiing or doing any other active sport where I have to look down occasionally. I can look down at my feet or the ground without looking through the reading lens. So, it is true that sitting and reading a book would be uncomfortable in these glasses, but if you're out there doing something active, or even just doing errands around town, and you want to read a text on your phone or take a picture, then these glasses are perfect!

Love these sun/reading glasses! This is the 4th pair I have had - my fault, broke a side bow on 2 pair, someone stepped on the 3rd pair. Had the tortoise shell color before, this time the womens dark purple/pink ones. Very comfortable and really cut the sun and glare.

Rated 4 out of 5 by loiecz Made well, good lenses
Overall I am pleased with the glasses, which I purchased mainly for bicycling on sunny days. They work well; I can read notes and signs with the medium magnification I chose. However, they are looser than I would like and a big large for my small face. There was no choice of sizes for women.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gpstogo Comfortable fit, excellent lens quality
These sunglasses are the best I've had. The fit is snug and comfortable plus my entire eye is perfectly protected from the side as well with the gentle curving shape. It has taken me awhile to get accustomed to a lined bifocal but I am now and find it invaluable. I can read my Galaxy Note phone screen, my Kindle screen, my gps, etc. easily even in the sun. Perfect everywhere sunglasses. I'm completely satisfied with the lens quality as well...much better than I'd expected. I feel as if I'm wearing a prescription glass. Very well done LLBean .......

Rated 5 out of 5 by cossondra Love! Comfy, durable
I love these sunglasses. Very sturdy. The bifocals are perfect for reading in bright sun. I was worried they wouldn't "feel" right but they are comfy and a great fit. Definitely a great value for price.

These are good quality, stylish glasses! I'm on my 2nd pair now. I wear them to the beach, the grocery store, everywhere! You can't tell they're bifocals unless you look very close. The fit is perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lefatshe Scratch easily, reader portion of lens too low
I have had these glasses for a couple of years. They look great, but I have never liked how small the reader portion of the lens is. In order to read a book or map outdoors, i have to push them up to the very top of my nose, and even then have difficulty reading comfortably. Also considering the price, I think this pair scratches easily. I don't think I would purchase these again unless the price is much lower AND the reader portion is enlarged.

Rated 3 out of 5 by badputter bifocal sunglasses
I like the idea of bifocal sunglasses, since I use a camera a lot, and wear glasses only for reading. My one criticism is that the bifocal part doesn't work well for me, because I have to look up to see thru, which makes changing setting a little difficult. I have worn prescription bifocals without that problem. The 2.5 magnification works well for me, and the lens color is good in bright sun.
