Rated 1 out of 5 by OnTheGoSouthernBell to other LLB shirts, this one runs VERY small
I am a huge LLB fan. I live in LLB clothes. I bought this shirt because the no-see'em in SW Florida can be horriable, especially back in the Mangroves. This shirt is well made and a nice color; however, the SIZE IS WAY OFF. I have probably 20+ LLB shirts, all size L. I ordered this shirt in size L as well, but I could barely get it on. Needless to say I returned it. I doubt a XL would fit!

The shirt is way too tight in the chest and arms. Nice colors and nice fabric.
Women normally wearing Large or XL might consider the men's shirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by edahm Bug Shirts run small
I'm not certain about the bug shield portion of this shirt. However, the item is FITTED and seems small across the bust to me. Sleeves are nice and long however. I decided to keep it and try never to put it in the clothes dryer. If the bug-off works, this is a very INEXPENSIVE method of bug control. Other shirts like it are very expensive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LadyCAgolfer Tight!
I was looking for a long sleeve, light weight shirt for a trip, and this looked perfect. It is very fitted (i.e. tight) so only appropriate for me to wear underneath another layer. Not at all what I was looking for and rather odd since all of the other things I ordered for the trip had to be returned because they were all too big.

Although sized as "large," this item was extremely snug. Normally a large is a bit too big for me. I replaced it with an "extra large," which is still very snug.

Rated 3 out of 5 by leaveblank bug clothes
I bought this shirt and pants because I'm outdoors fishing and hiking and the bugs are always annoying me. I haven't had a chance to wear these items in a really buggy area so my rating is still up in the air. I live in Tucson AZ and hike in the mtns and in the drier areas and will find out more later in the season. I've worn them and washed them and they have done real well there. I'll rewrite this review when I know how much better they are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Meiko Tick repellent
I ordered this shirt to rebel ticks specifically and it seems to be doing the job, so in that respect I like it. It does run small. Other LLBean products I can wear a large & it is plenty big - this shirt is by another company and the XL I got is almost to small for me. I'm also not crazy about the material, more of a nylon feel than cotton - which the men's shirt feels like. It does dry quickly when you get wet from rain. The blue is nice, it's just really tight on me and I have to wear another shirt over it.

I love the shirt! The color (light blue) and fit are very good, and the fabric has a nice feel and appearance. No more deer ticks since I've begun to wear it for gardening. Thank heavens -- I was getting quite worried about Lyme disease. How about an Insect Shield hat??

Rated 1 out of 5 by lhaven too tight in waist/hips
I like the concept of this shirt, but I wonder whether Ex-Officio really designed this for women, as opposed to men. The shirt is long, and plenty big on the top, but way too tight at the waist and hip area, and too long, too.
