There were instructions included in about 10 different languages but English.
As a first-time user it would have nice to know the do's and don'ts, is pre-cleaning necessary, how to clean it after use, etc. Any liquid container is subject to bacteria growth...

I bought this reservoir after a bit of research and a call to customer service who assured me it would fit my Ridge Runner pack. It does, nicely. It is possible to hang it from the snap-buckle closure of the sleeve inside the pack. I like the detachable hose which makes it easier to feed through the hose-port in my backpack. I hesitate to give it 5 stars only because I haven't had the bladder long.. it dries nicely, using the drying arms and seems like a great product.

When I decided to start riding my mountain bike more this Summer, I bought this CamelBak for the pack that I have. It works great!! I don't know how I've gone hiking in the past without it. It's fantastic to be biking on a trail and simply reach up and put the tube in the mouth to get some water instead of awkwardly reaching around to get a water bottle out of the mesh holders on the pack. This past weekend I hiked Borestone Mountain in Maine in 90+ heat. This pack was a godsend!!

One of the better outdoor items I've ever bought. My wife and I have used it a couple times on day hikes. It fits nicely into our Marmot day pack. Water in this thing is far easier to carry than a couple bottles by hand. No leaking. It fills easily. The bite valve doesn't drip.
I'd suggest one of these to anyone who likes to stay hydrated while they're hiking.

I love as it fits perfectly with my favorite backpack the Lily 19 day pack. easy to clean and no "plastic" taste.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kisa hanger is too fragile
A car can drive over this bladder without damaging it but I can't use it normally without breaking off the thin plastic hanger. Once that little appendix-like thingie breaks off there's no way to hang the bladder in your pack. Unsecured, the full bladder moves around and throws off your balance, and as the bladder empties it winds up crumpled in a heap at the bottom of your pack. The whole system is rendered useless once the hanger is broken. Go figure. Most resevoirs from Camelback's competitors have very rugged, unbreakable hanging systems.
I do like that this bladder has an antibacterial liner that keeps the mildew and fungus at bay. I like its light weight and the included on/off switch on the bite valve (others make you purchase this seperately). The super-wide mouth is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bckpckr A great hydration system!
So glad I finally replaced my old, leaky hydration system with this new and improved model. The great antimicrobial material did not give a funky taste to the the water. The locking system works well and after the first couple of days on the trail my worries about the cap letting go and spilling its contents in my backpack vanished. Also, the locking mechanism on the hose worked well to shut off the flow of water and the new sip cap worked wonderfully and probably didn't need a lock at this point to keep it from leaking anyway. I've only used it for a weekend, but I am thinking this bladder will go with me for the rest of this season and hopefully many more.
Also, if weight is a concern, for the 70oz. this holds it is much lighter than the two heavier plastic, wide mouthed bottles it replaced from my pack.
