I'm an 11 medium and ordered the 11M. Fits fine even with mid weight socks. Wish it in more colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by thatwombat Great light-weight boot
I managed to get 2 pair of these in my size 10 before they are completely sold out- just grabbed the apple cinnamon (which I was told is going to be discontinued) and the marsh brown were delivered today. Living in SoCal, I do not need a boot suitable for the tundra and these boots fit the bill perfectly. They are durable, fit well and are a comfortable weight for everyday use and rain (if we ever get any!). I can also foresee using them around the house to do yard work, etc. The canvas has sort of a mottled/funky look which adds to the charm of these boots.
I do not have a problem getting them on and off- I read where some posters have experienced difficulties. Not sure why although it is important to almost completely unlace them before inserting your foot.
Will look forward to next season's offering of LLB boots- I know now not to dawdle if I see something I fancy!

by RedCanvas Holiday Boot Fun
Went to the Grand Opening yesterday at Park Meadows Mall in Colorado! Yay! Bought these in Red (Apple Cinnamon) and cannot wait to wear them for this Holiday season and years to come! :)
I am a solid 10 women's however they were too big! So got these in a 9 and they fit perfect with a smart wool sock! Never wear a 9 so when they say buy a size down...do it! :)
Love Love Love how classic and fun these boots are!

I love everything about these boots! They are good looking, comfortable, and they keep my feet warm and dry! The cinnamon color is vibrant yet not loud. The hight is just right. I was worried they might not have enough cushion, but they feel just fine. I normally wear a size 7 or 71/2. I bought these in a size 6 and they are just right with a mid-weight sock. Seriously, I'll be sad when spring comes and I'll need to take them off. These boots can be tough to track down, but you won't regret it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FashionBGirlie First LL Bean Purchase, and I'm in love!
Ok, I'll admit it. At the time that I bought these, I was a California Girl who thought L.L. Bean was a company for old people. But then one day I found the signature line, and the cult following for "Bean Boots," and I was sold. When I saw these cool waxed variations of the traditional bean boot, I knew this was the boot for me.
I initially bought these when I was headed to the North West for a short trip and wanted a rain boot that was fashionable with a little edge that I could use once I got home. These kept me looking fashionable and pretty dry as I tromped around the puddles and rain of Seattle.
Now that I have moved to the Northeast, I have reached for these in the beginning rainy season and am very happy with the traction they provide while looking fashionable.
The one and only issue that I've had with these boots is that they are water resistant and not water proof (though I don't think L.L. Bean claimed they are), which is probably what I actually need. In heavy rain fall and on a light snow day, I noticed a slight amount of wetness coming through near the top of the shoe where the laces start. This led my feet to become just slightly chilled in that area, I was wearing a couple pairs of socks. The chilly feeling did not spread.
I may have to purchase some official snow boots to keep all of the wetness out and be better prepared for a very cold season since these aren't insulated, but I have otherwise been very satisfied with my purchase. They're exceptionally made and are so versatile that they are worth keeping for everything except the winter. I plan to try thicker socks and see how long I can wear them

I loved these at first sight but when I tried to order they were sold out in my size online. I called customer service and they were wonderful and tracked some down at a store in New York. The New York store was also wonderful and took my order by phone and put them in the mail right away. The sizing guidance is spot on. The 10'' is high enough to make the boot comfortable and fashionable. The marsh brown is a fatigue greenish brown and very attractive. My husband saw them on me and immediately decided he wanted some for himself. They are a wonderful, American made, boot and I am so so so happy LLBean worked so hard to help me get some. Thank you!

I bought this boot last winter and I love it. The regular been boots were out of stock in my size until the spring so I turned to this waxed canvas style instead. I am so glad I did.
I am between a size 10 and 11, so I was worried they would be too big or too small but the size 10 fit great. There is a removable insole which is nice if you want to make your own fit.
There is no thinsulate lining, I preferred this in the end. I can wear the boots with midweight or regular socks as a rain boot for colder rainy days and throw on some rag wool socks in the winter and my feet are toasty all day.
These are also lighter than I thought they would be. I can walk around all day in them and they don't feel clunky or hurt my ankles.
Overall I highly recommend this boot. It is a great look and has all the functionality of the traditionally been boot. I may even look into grabbing a tall version, or a wool upper version down the line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Keniki found the boot!
LL Bean offers so many choices of hunting boots, that it can be very difficult to choose...of course, the classic is always a good choice. This one is so comfortable right out of the box and breathes a little better with the flexibility of the canvas that I instantly knew this was the one! I normally wear a 7 1/2 and got the 7. Perfect fit :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by mmc4848 Beautiful in cinnamon and really well made boot
I just got my boots! My feet are wide, but LL Bean boots are great because they are already comfortable. The wides were actually too big when I tried them on in the store. I ordered a whole size down, but regular and not wide. There is plenty of room in the toe box, the shoes are comfortable right out of the box! The ten inch boot is the perfect height. The best part is the cinnamon color, they certainly "pop" and look stylish, I'm so ready for autumn and these will be a staple for my wardrobe. You cannot go wrong with these boots. I would not mind owning a pair in every color. The canvas is also unique. These will not be my last pair of Bean Boots! My next pair will be the ten inch shearling, I'm totally hooked. Thanks LL Bean for such beautiful stitching, craftsmanship and best of all, MADE IN USA.

After ordering the 8" felt LL Beans women's boots and returning them because they seemed to cut into my legs at the wrong height, I am very happy with the Waxed Canvas Maine Hunting Shoe. The boot is comfortable right out of the box and fits well with various socks. The 10" height just seems to work much better. The waxed canvas is more flexible and softer than the felt, which was so stiff. I am a 7.5 but I ordered the 6 and it is great. My only complaint is more a suggestion for LLBean. First, the boots came in the outer shipping box - no real shoe box at all. For $139 I should get a real box inside the shipping container. It is brown and ugly - just like a regular shipping box. It may sound picky, but I save all my boots in their boxes.
Secondly, I had to go to LL Bean Signature website to find these boots. I almost didn't find them. They are not listed in the "boots" on the regular LLBean website - so if you are searching for a boot you are not seeing everything they offer in one place. Annoying. Plus, why call it a shoe - it is a boot. But I do love the boots so I couldn't take off a star for that.
