Rated 5 out of 5áby seattlekd Excellent all-purpose rain jacket!
I can't say enough about how great this jacket is for a rain jacket. It's a bit on the pricey side for a rain jacket, but well worth it if you are out in the rain a lot.
I bought this jacket for a family member last Christmas, and she loved it so much that I decided to buy myself one this year, as I recently got a new puppy who needs a lot of walking, and well, it rains a lot here in Seattle!
I normally wear a size 8-10, and am of medium height, and the size medium fit me perfectly, with just enough room to wear a sweater or fleece jacket underneath, but not too much room. The dark royal blue is a good color that blends well with most of my wardrobe. The jacket is well made, with a good hood and velcro on the sleeves. I have received a number of compliments on the jacket, which is surprising for a raincoat!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Lovinglife1 Perfect Little Jacket for Spring through Fall
I ordered my usual ll bean size and it was a little big..which it is meant to be so you can layer underneath. I ordered the Orange, which is a nice color. It is very thin, (which I wanted) and it is easy to pack or carry(very lightweight). Nice length on it..I am 5 2". The real test will be using this jacket in a down pour. Of course once I ordered this jacket we haven't had one. But I needed a rain jacket since I moved to the midwest. Thunderstorms are frequent in the summer. Overall this is a nice jacket as far as styling. Will comment again after I see how it does in the rain.

I owned this rain jacket for almost 5 years and was too lazy/cheap to buy a rain jacket that's $100. Anyways after a year and a half or two years the tape that lines the neckline at the back of the jacket started to peel and cut into my skin. I can understand why tape was used since this jacket is made of plastic and sewing into plastic creates holes, but this jacket wasn't very water resistant either. Two years ago I went to the Bronx Zoo and it poured the whole day and my skin was soaked and I was sweating because this jacket isn't very breathable. I thought about sending the jacket back but I didn't want to pay for shipping and I find the color selection to be very old looking. I suggest spending a few more dollars on another jacket that will last you longer!

After barely making it through my first Chicago fall with my umbrella in one piece I realized it was time to get a rain coat. When my jacket came in I loved it! It fits great and is roomy enough to fit a sweater or sweatshirt underneath when need and rolls up small enough that I can keep it in my bag so I am always prepared.

This rain jacket is perfect for what I wanted, travel, and to be able to wear a sweater under when necessary and there is plenty of room for that. The only con I have is that the daylily color is more of a neon orange, but since this is not going to be my daily attire and the rain jacket is very nice otherwise, it is a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5áby snigda Great light weight jacket
This may be the perfect jacket for me - I live in the Pacific Northwest and am an avid walker. So far, it has protected me from both rain and wind. The jacket fits well, with room for layers of warmth underneath when needed. I chose the orange color - it is so rich and beautiful, and makes me easy to spot as a pedestrian. The hood's adjustable tab, plus the wrist tabs makes it simple to customize the fit. The pockets are large and made of a mesh fabric. I think it is somewhat overpriced, but given how much I like this jacket after only one week, I'll likely change my mind. Overall, a great jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5áby happytraveler3 LOVE this rainjacket!
I bought this recently for a trip to the rainy Pacific Northwest, and have worn it just about every day since then (traveling and at home). Kept me nice & dry during a 4-hour kayaking trip in steady rain, and a lot of walking and other outdoor activities too; equally nice for wearing to & from work for a rainy commute. And it folds up pretty small for when the sun comes out.
As with most LLBean items, it runs a little large/baggy in my opinion, so I ordered a size down (S when I usually wear M from other companies) and it fits quite nicely, with enough room to layer underneath -- I can even get a fleece jacket under it for cold days.

This took 3days to come...mind blowing...I love this jacket, my 1st time buying anything from LL bean and I'm completely satisfied!!! I have it in yellow..it's comfy, warm ( it's May and it's still chilly in NYC) this jacket is right on time!!! It's a little bigger than "true to size" and worth the price...hearts to the maker!

Rated 5 out of 5áby sydni Nice upgrades!!
I had the old rain jacket (purchased in 2006) and traded it in because the waterproof lining was starting to come apart. I ordered this one in the glacial teal and I am so impressed with the changes they've made!! The jacket is beautiful and feels really great. I want to wear it all the time. :) But really, the bottom is tailored so it shapes nicely to fit around the waist in the back. The buttons are very sturdy and feel quality. The material on the inside of the jacket looks and feels really nice. The hood fits much better than the one on my old jacket, etc. It just feels like a really nice rain jacket. Can't wait to try it out in the rain!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Georgiacamper Perfect rainjacket!
This rainjacket is fantastic! At first I thought it would be too lightweight but, is perfect for our Georgia climate. If it is colder I just wear a sweater under and is very waterproof and dries quickly. I love the material.
I liked it so much I ordered a similiar one for my husband, and he loves his too! I am a size 12 and ordered a Medium and it fits very well, not too tight or too big. I highly recommend this coat!
