I bought these expecting them to be ok for the beach, and liked them so much I bought two more pairs for summertime activities. Good fit for me (I am hippy) with the drawstring to snug in the waist. And very comfortable. I haven't worn shorts for years but this week on vacation I've hardly worn anything else.

Nice fabric and well made, but as with more and more garments for women, these are cut to fit the shape of a 12 year old boy. I usually wear a size 8, so I'm not huge, but I have curves. These probably fit fine if you have a flat butt and no waist. They're going back. And I had such hope that these would be just what I was looking for.

The pockets gaped open when moving around, making it look like one had large lumps on their sides. The fabric was comfortable, but that didn't make up for the look. Sent them back.

I haven't had a chance to wear this suit in the water yet, but I think it will work. My only complaint is that I wish the stripes on the top matched up front to back. (That's just an aesthetic issue.) The shorts are comfortable.

Found the top....small...... even though I ordered a size bigger.
Found the bottoms...."huge" ...although I ordered a size larger.
Sent them both back for an exchange with different sizes...waiting for the delivery....keeping fingers crossed.

I needed a 2 piece swim suit for an upcoming vacation that includes shore excursions. This lined swim short is perfect. Light weight. Quick drying. I love the pockets. And cobalt blue is great.
In size Small, the waist and hips fit me quite well. It's nice that the draw string waist allows for flexibility and easy off/on. The legs are a bit full, but that will be OK for beach activities.

I was forewarned and order a much smaller size than I normally would. That was a good thing. These are very unstructured, loose fitting shorts which is exactly what I was after. Even in a size 2 smaller than I would normally even consider ordering, I need to tighten the draw string to keep them up! My intention was to wear them with either my tankini swim top or over a one-piece swimsuit and so far that has worked out well. Be sure to rinse chlorine or saltwater out of the shorts as immediately after use as possible to prolong their life and retain their original color.

Our 90 year old friend was having a hard time finding a bathing suite that fit well, was comfortable and easily to get off and on.. We found her the perfect 2 piece bathing suite.. She loves it...! Thank you LLBean

While the construction is excellent they did not serve my purpose, I bought these shorts, hoping they would work out in the pool. They are baggy, don't fit the way they show on the model and billow out with every movement in the pool. They are being returned.

I had ordered a larger size and after some surgery I lost lots of weight, which meant the original size I ordered were much too large. LLBean accepted the return and sent a smaller size which were perfect. There were no questions asked which made the whole process an easy purchase and return experience. THANK YOU LLBean!
