The toe box stitching on the top of the sock came apart in the first few hours of wearing these socks. I'm not sure if this is a flaw in all the socks or I just bought a fluke pair. The material is nice and thicker for keeping the toes warm. But the sock getting a hole in the top within an hour was disappointing for a $20 pair of socks. I will be returning the product.

Bought both the mid-weight and light-weight to see the difference. I am a farmgirl and on my feet outside alot. The light-weight would be good for summer, but the mid-weight are just what I need for winter. They are a bit thicker and have the terry cloth-type lining all the way up. The arch support is terrific. These socks don't bunch and and super comfortable and really wick the moisture away. You get what you pay for and these are worth the extra $.

I purchased the crew midweight and lightweight both in deep periwinkle color...I usually don't spend so much on socks but I really wanted to try LL Bean, so I picked these two pairs out. When they arrived in the mail and I first felt them I thought they might be itchy, but I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on... they are very soft and cushiony, and they keep my feet dry, the various textures support my feet very well, they feel like a massage compared to cheaper socks. The only thing I would change about these socks, if I could, is I would make them wider at the ankle/leg part, my ankle is by no means large but these socks were slightly snug in that area, still the most comfortable socks I have ever owned and I can't wait to buy more by this company.

I bought these socks for myself and a pair of boot socks for my husband. The material is supersoft and the fit is great, but my socks itch from the ankles up. The toe has great cushioning, but the material at the ball of my foot feels thinner. Overrall, they're thick socks, but it makes it really hard to find a shoe or boot to fit with it. Everything I put on feels too snug with these socks. My husband has the same problem. They are great around the house, but who wants to pay this money for lounging socks? Maybe the lightweight are better, but that still doesn't solve the itching problem. Somehow I thought mine were itch-free, but maybe those are only in the men's product?
