I just received this clock and have only used it for a few days but I love it! It's quiet, maintains the correct time, has easy-to-read numbers and a push button to see the time at night. The alarm sound is nice, not jarring. I just ordered a second one. Runs on 2 AAA batteries.

Very Pleased. My husband loves the idea of the larger #'s and the ease with which he is able to see the time during the night. The alarm is just enough . . . . not shattering the first thing in the morning. Seems to be well made and durable. He is very happy with it.

I love the look of the clock; it has a nice heft to its metal body, but as soon as I put batteries in, the alarm sounded, and sounded, and sounded. Nothing short of removing both batteries would end the alarm. I sent it back and am awaiting the exchange. I hope the next clock will function as expected.

I was very please with the retro look of this clock. It does appear as in the catalog. It is easy to use and the size is perfect for a nightstand item. It really does remind me of alarm clocks I used as a child. You should consider an entire retro line of products which may have been used in cottages and lake homes in the 1930's thru the 1950's. I actually bought two of these clocks for my Lake House up in NY.

My wife uses this clock on her night stand. It's easy to read/see
and she uses the alarm not only to wake up but also resets it
several times a day to remind her to take her medications.

Actually this is our 3rd purchase of the Big Ben Clock. I think we have almost every color. Blue, silver and now the green. The clocks remind both my spouse and I of when we were kids and guess what we can read it from a distance. It's simple and clear, the low and high switch for the light is great. I like low light and my spouse likes the high light. Thanks L.L

We bought this as an alarm clock because it looked nice. Unfortunately it didn't live up to LLBean standards. The back light never worked and the clocked stopped every time it came to the alarm hand. We sent it back and found a clock with comparable features at 1/10 the price at a local retailer. It may not be as retro looking as the LLBean clock, but it keeps time and is a reliable alarm. We have bought many items from LLBean over the years and this is the first time we have ever had to return an item for poor quality.
