He's too young for sunscreen, so I was very concerned about keeping him protected from the sun. I am very pleased with this product. The fabric is soft and comfortable and it's practically a perfect fit - the hat basically hugs my son's head. It offers great shade for his head, face, ears and neck. We wore it while swimming too and it dries fairly quickly. I thought it was worth every penny. July 20, 2012

The only reason I didn't give it 5-Stars is because of the color choices. I wish a more unisex choice were available. As it was, I bought her the blue because the pink version was a bit frilly. I love to take him for walks in his stroller and have tried various visored hats to keep the sun out of his eyes. He never keeps them on for long but this one seems to fit snuggly on his head because of the stretchy material. Can't wait to try it on the beach this summer! March 21, 2012

The only negative is that we are really concerned about sun damage to her skin - and this hat (like a cap) does not cover the whole face, just forehead and nose mostly. August 31, 2011
