Rated 3 out of 5 by feeny Color selection limited
Contrary to some of the other reviews on this t-shirt, I feel the color selection is quite limited. Where is a gray or dark green? Maybe there are more colors available in regular, but I wear a tall size. As far as repelling stains, I disagree with the statement that it repels paint. Overall, I like the product, but some of the description is a bit hyped, in my opinion. The tall size is also a bit pricey.

I never purchase tshirts Navy because I don't like how they look on me. But the Indigo Heather CHANGED MY MIND INSTANTLY! I look fresh! Thank you LL Bean for another item to my wardrobe!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Max77 The only T-shirt I buy!
I was getting VERY frustrated with every brand of T-shirt due to the rapid deterioration of the collar after just a couple of months of use. Then I found these L.L. Bean T-shirts. The collar keeps it's shape after years of use. They are the only T-shirts I buy now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by velvetfog Not like the old Tees
I've been wearing LL Bean Tees for many years and this new "invincible" coating they're using on them keeps them soft and supple feeling - untill you sweat in them and expect the cotton to absorb it - then they get slick and sticky feeling. I work out fairly regularly and usually wear Tees. Fortunately I still have a number of the old style so will only wear my new "invincible" ones as a color accent when I'm not expecting to perspire much and the old ones for everything else.
I will admit that I haven't stained one though.

I bought two of these shirts to wear while at the gym. They are advertised as 100 % cotton but, they do not soak up perspiration. Thought I was in a poorly designed rain suit. I thought I was buying the same shirt I've purchased in the past. Not so... Should have taken time to read current reviews instead of purchasing based on "stars." Not up to LLB standards.

Well, it does stain. I inadvertently got toothpaste on the front. With the stain unnoticed, it went through a wash/dry cycle. I tried a myriad of stain removers to no avail. The stain is permanent.

While the shirts are made well and thicker, they are shorter than other shirts. I'm a large and they are too short for a large. When I bend forward they slide up much more than other large t-shirts revealing an attractive plumbers smile.
I'm gonna return these.

Rated 5 out of 5 Stop looking and buy this T
I have bought T-Shirts from other companies in the past, I won't in the future. The weight, the cut, and the durability. I wear these T's daily and wash them regularly and they retain their color and fit. You can find T's for less and you'll get what you paid for. Stop looking and buy this T.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HJDC Dark Elm not what you see on the screen
Like the shirt, but the color called Dark Elm is not at all what you see online. The online photo shows a muted green tending toward gray or blue. The shirt is a much more intense color, on the yellow side of green.
