I love these Pima Cotton LS tees, I bought 3 of them for winter and they are a perfect fit and thickness. They do shrink a little when dried in the dryer. So, I partial dry and hang dry.

Rated 5 out of 5áby rural6 LOVE this item. Why so hard to get colors, sizes?
I love the pima v-neck tees. And I'm very happy to see a long sleeve version, as opposed to three quarter length!
After many years of shopping LL Bean, I'm still mystified about the unavailability of colors and sizes! For instance, if you look at this item (pima tee, long sleeve) you will see only two colors available in XL, not only in sale priced, but in the regular priced v- necks as well. Why? By now your buyers should have expertise sufficient to predict the demand. There are plenty of extra small and small sizes in most colors available, but only limited colors in Large and XLarge. These versatile shirts are 3-season in in many locales, so seasonality shouldn't be that much of an issue.
As a frequent buyer of your products, I find it frustrating to see a new color and discover it sold out very quickly, but only in the large sizes!
Also, when a color is popular, please do not discontinue it too quickly (deep turquoise and pink hydrangea come immediately to mind). Some years color selection is just not great: greyed blues; muddy turquoise; and yellow-based, light to mid-range greens but no clear colors. Some classic colors, including pastels, should just be retained, like navy and black are, year after year. Where are the pinks this year? While possibly a nice color, strawberry pink is too bright and intense to substitute for pink.
I can't be the only one who likes certain colors, or they would be available and not sold out. Same thing for the colors that end up on clearance, which tend to be the colors I do not like or want. There must be a way to predict which are going to be in demand. Maybe you should confer with customers.
Why all the shortages and back-orders? Are the Cambodians suddenly making only limited editions of Tee Shirts? Are they trying to emulate the Beanie Baby craze of the 90's, only with Tee shirts? Many things I'd like to order are sold out by the time we get the catalog.
LOVE the clothes, hate that they are seldom available in my size.

Rated 1 out of 5áby HappyInPimaCotton Why is There No Plus Size V-Neck Pima Cotton Tees?
Every time an L.L.Bean catalog comes in the mail, I am disappointed to find there are no plus size v-neck pima cotton long sleeved tees. In the past, they have been such a wonderful part of my wardrobe, both office and casual. The pima cotton in my garments is still like new (with no special care), and some of these tees are over 10 yrs old and all have been worn frequently. Their colors are still clear and bright, there is no pilling, and they have maintained their shape all this time. Tees bought from competitors in the same price range, during this time, have long since become rags. So here I am, wanting to support your company and not being able to, like so many others in your reviews. Hopefully, one day I will open a catalog and see plus size reinstated and in a wonderful array of colors!

I was disappointed when my new shirts arrived, since the v neck is cut at least an inch lower than the same style from last year. The pima cotton is wonderful, but these are being returned.

I too would like to know why this does not come in plus size. Why is it included in the plus size category? And why do plus size tee's come in fewer colors than regular size?

Rated 1 out of 5áby LLBeanShopper000 Where are the plus sizes?
This v-neck has been a wardrobe staple for years, so I was very disappointed to find it's no longer available in plus sizes. Sure, there's the crew neck version, but that's not a flattering neckline for me so I won't buy it. Please bring back the v-neck... and while you're at it, make it 29" long.

Great for petite women. I'm 5'4" and if I lift up my arms you get a belly flash. Love the quality, if they were longer would purchase more and give it a five star rating.

Rare is it I get excited over a long sleeve t-shirt but I am loving the Pima cotton tee from LL Bean! The pima cotton is so soft and thick enough it's not transparent like some cottons. I love how bright the white has stayed after multiple washes. Now I need to get my teeth whitened! :) I'm definitely ordering an array of colors. This shirt is great as a strand alone piece dressed up w/jewelry or as an undershirt.

I'm a size 8, 5' 4", and I ordered this in medium. It's far too short in the waist. I considered reordering this in Large, but checking back through my closet I have several other t-shirts from Bean, short-sleeved, in size L, and they are 24" from shoulder to bottom hem, in other words barely long enough to tuck in.
Also, this is supposed to be cotton? It feels like cheap polyester. I'm returning this for a refund and that's it for me as a Bean customer. The quality is gone.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Wings23 Nice soft lightweight shirt
I am very fussy about the shirts I wear, a lot of fabrics, even 100% cotton bother me. Not so this fabric. It is lightweight, soft and sillky. The v-neck is a good depth, not too high, not too low. Note on that, I am 5'4" so it might be different if you were taller or shorter. I wear petite pants, and sometimes petite shirts but order a regular in these to get that good depth. They are fairly lightweight, and the lighter colors are very see-through. I ordered a cream and it pretty much looks like I am wearing a gauze shirt. The sleeves are a little long on this for me in the size I wear (XL) but not so long as to be annoying.
