We ordered both the small & medium bags in Royal for our adult daughter. She wanted something for occasional weekend trips that she could easily throw in the car that didn't necessarily look like luggage and would be easy to carry. The sizes are perfect. For shorter trips, the medium easily does the trick, and for longer trips, having the additional small bag is great for stowing all toiletries, etc., freeing up extra space in the medium bag. We plan on purchasing more bags for several Christmas gifts.

This bag holds a lot more than I thought it would, enough for about a 3 or 4-day trip for me, yet it still fits under plane seats, even on smaller jets. The ergonomic strap makes it easy to handle while walking for longer periods of time, unlike bags whose straps dig into your shoulder. The handles on the sides are very useful and give you more places to grab, especially if you have limited leg room and you're trying to pull it up from under a seat.
The outside pocket is great for storing small things that you need to reach quickly, like a wallet or cell phone. I like that it only has that one pocket because I don't like hunting through tons of pockets for my stuff. I also like that the zipper is extra long and goes down to the sides/ends of the bag as it makes it easier to pack and unpack.
Gonna be using this a lot for weekend trips, maybe to the gym, as a picnic bag to carry food and a blanket in. Overall, very useful, practical, and good-looking (got the Indigo tropic print) bag!

Just purchased the medium duffle in red as an early fathers day gift for my husband. It was the perfect carryon, held sneakers, dress shoes, and 4 days worth of clothes. And it meets airline requirements. I plan on buying 2 more for my son and myself.

I got this bag when I was 8 years old. I'm now 23. The bag is in pristine condition, and its not because I've been even remotely light on it. It has gone everywhere I've gone over the past 15 years, which is 30 states and 3 continents. My friends make fun of me for using the same bag on every trip I take because it doesn't make sense that the same bag could be the right size for all occasions... It is. It's like Mary Poppins' bag. It's designed really well so that even when you stuff it to the gills with dirty laundry (college!) it somehow doesn't become too hard to carry on your shoulder. Think long and hard about what color you want when you buy it... You're buying a lifelong companion!

Perfect for casual travel, sturdy, light and holds bedroll, and gear. Pretty tropical pattern makes it easy to find in a pile of 100 kids' duffels on field trips. We bought one extra large, which is almost too big and one large which is perfect size. love it!

We own 2 of the smaller duffle bags, which we use as carry-on bags...they are wonderful. We've had them for 15 yrs and I can't enough good things about them! We also have 2 of the extra-large duffles and they are also terrific...they've been everywhere, been through everything, and after 15 yrs, still in top shape! I highly recommend both styles!!

Purchased two of these in 2001 for our honeymoon in Alaska and still using them today. They hold a ton and are easy to roll and pick up and load into a vehicle. Bought two more for the kids now also.

This is a great looking bag! My husband has one from years ago and I wanted one too. The monogram looks nice as well but the "ash" color is more like taupe. I assumed it was a medium gray color- not the case. That is why I am giving 4 stars.

I have been looking for a well made, lightweight, solidly constructed, easy to handle, simple but brilliantly executed, easy to store and use larger duffel bag for years. And this duffel bag works brilliantly. I am a 5'2" woman, and this bag allows me the maneuverability I have been looking for. The bag has a water-resistant coating on the inside, which is essential for traveling and keeping my packables clean and protected. The large size is substantial, but not too big and is so well proportioned that even when it is packed full it is not too bulky or burdensome. I love that the bottom is reinforced, that there are two super-useful handles on either end of the bag plus one on top, that one can cinch down the top of the duffel with built in outside straps, and that there is a metal attached padded shoulder sling which makes the bag easy to carry and walk with. The bag is light, has a useful smaller zippered pocket on the outside, a wonderful flap that covers the double-headed main body zipper, and it can be nicely folded up and stored easily when empty. The only thing that would make this duffel better would be to have another zippered compartment or two on the inside, then it would be ideal. The "pink aloha" pattern is gorgeous, being a deeper rose/fuschia color than shown in the online picture, not too bright or overly pink and the hibiscus are lovely. Great duffel bag!

Our medium Adventure Duffle just arrived. This is our second. Loved the first, many years old, and has held up well. However, I ordered our second in Navy, but it is actually quite a bit darker than is pictured on the website. It is difficult to see ANY contrast between the black straps and the color of the bag. Disappointing, though the bag itself is well made and designed. I may return for a different color.
