I purchased this rain jacket in the purple for my 11-going-on-21-year-old fashionista daughter. I was looking for a reasonably priced rain jacket that would keep her dry. The material, longer length and hood met this requirment. My daughter was looking for a jacket that had more style and shape than the run of the mill jacket. We are both happy. I initially ordered the L for her, but exchanged it for the XL. She wears a 14 at the moment, but the L was a bit tight in the shoulders and I wanted it to have some growing room.

I bought this rain jacket in a size L (size 12-14) for my 8 year old daughter. Granted, she is tall for her age, but there isn't a ton of extra room! However, I was very pleased to finally find a rain jacket that goes just above the knee! So hard to find one that is a bit longer! We live in NYC & walk everywhere, so are out in the rain alot! This jacket keeps her nice & dry & the hood doesn't flop in her face. Good quality. We got the blueberry color & wish there were more, brighter, options.

Got the indigo blue. I love the color and longer, streamlined fit of this coat. Still has enough room for a warm layer underneath and is waterproof without looking too "plasticky." Perfect for Pacific Northwest winters!

We love this raincoat. It has a great fit , the purple is a beautiful color. The hood fits perfectly to shield from the rain. All over a great jacket , our 7 year old loves it too!

I have purchased rain jackets for our girls for the past several years from LL Bean and was always pleased with the quality of the merchandise, however, this year the raincoats seemed to be made of inferior material and quality. I would not recommend these jackets to anyone.

Love the color, fit, fabric! This raincoat is precious. I bought it for myself -- a 5' 3" 105-lb grownup, but I know that a little girl would be thrilled with it. (Just as I am!)

My grand daughter hasn't used it yet....but it's very pretty and the color is nice. However, she is tiny and 11 years old and the 12-14 just fit her....usually LL Bean runs a little large. You might want to order up a size......

I purchased this jacket for my 7th grader. We liked the style and were looking forward to the extra length for rainy waits at the bus stop. The style is cute, but the inside of the jacket is sticky plastic and didn't feel good. We have been very happy with the discovery rain jackets and expected a similar weblike liner inside. Since we need a size 12 now, we exchanged the cloudburst for the lined trail model jacket. We would have loved it if it had a liner!
