The cotton cable-knit sweater is a garment I consider a classic. It is virtually a four-season sweater and is available in many colors. This sweater washes well, packs well and always looks terrific. I wear sweaters like this with jeans, with wool pants in the winter and with shorts on misty summer days at the seashore. It can be tied around the shoulders for a specific look, or rolled into a waterproof bag for sailing. What more can one ask?

I recently received the Double L Cotton Crew neck sweater in Navy a size Misses Small. It fits OK and it is a nice heavy cotton. I have quite a few of these sweaters in the zip front style and love them, I
have a Navy one from a year ago that was a V-Neck and honestly it fit better than the crew neck. I wish Bean's would offer the v-neck style again without a collar in Petite! Although I wear a misses size when petite is not available----sometimes it simply does not work.

this sweater is great...love the color, the weight, the cables. But is it at least 3 inches too long for my 5"4" height. Wish they made this in petities. I will return the sweater..

I'd been looking for a dark green cable sweater and was so happy at finding this one. Almost flipped when it arrived........not the DARK green shown on the internet, far from it. Was so disappointed, sent it back. Please LL get the colors right on this nice sweater.

What a beautiful sweater~ outstandiing quality for the price. I bought one in white and am back to buy more in other colors. An elegant, three-season piece; may even work on cool summer evenings. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for some medium weight sweaters to wear on cool early spring days, but I am tired of dark "wintery" colors. This sweater is perfect. The cotton knit is a substantial weight, but not bulky, and feels really soft next to bare skin if you don't want to wear a long-sleeved shirt underneath. Also, the fit is fabulous. I'm 5'6", 127 lbs, and about a size 8 dress. I ordered the small, and the it fits just right -- fitted but not skin tight, not too tight under the arms (my pet peeve), and the length is ideal -- just to a bit below the hipbone on me. I ordered the "trillium red" and it is a great spring color -- kind of an coral-orangey-red. For those of you who look good in "warm" colors, it should be really flattering. Overall I'm thrilled with this sweater. Just what I needed for spring. Great quality, and a classic style that I'll be able to do a lot with. Thanks LL Bean!

I like this sweater, just throw it in the washer. I got it a little big so I could put it in the dryer too. Didn't shrink much at all. Nice weight, warm but not too heavy. I have the navy, just ordered the pink too.

I have other cotton cables from Bean and they all fit true to size and keep me warm. I was expecting more of a taupe color than the tan, but it's not always easy to see subtle differences on the computer. I'll keep it and enjoy it.

This sweater is too short for me, and I like my sweaters pretty short so that shirt tails can show underneath. I doesn't have any fitting at all. It is baggy even though I ordered 2 sizes smaller than what I normally wear. The material is nice, and perhaps it would fit better for someone who likes a boxier sweater.

I ordered this sweater in large, as I saw the fit was "slightly fitted". I am glad I did, as I usually am a medium. I wonder why LL Bean would make it this way, as most people want a sweater that will go over another shirt. A medium would have been too tight. As it is, this sweater is rather long and the sleeves are a little tight and long, too. I will keep it, as I love the pink color and the weight of the sweater. Hopefully, I will get a lot of wear out of it. Don't know if this is for everyone.
Please, LL Bean consider making it more relaxed and shorter to be more fashionable.
