They are not heavy but very warm, the fabric is pliable which makes them easy to wear and still have full use of your fingers. The cuff has a velcro closure that cinches the glove around your wrist for cold winter days. The palm has a silicone covering that gives a good grip. Overall a great all purpose glove. Rated 5 out of 5�by TimeForTuckermans Perfect balance of warmth/weight I bought these primarily as driving gloves for the cold Northeast winter - they are thin enough that I can still pull my wallet out when I'm gassing up the car in 10 degree weather, yet very warm and comfortable...but they've also been great when I've gone for runs, when I am loading and unloading all the gear when we go skiing and other outdoor activities. I basically use them everyday, so great value for the money. March 16, 2011

Sure my hand would of stayed warm if they had stayed dry. The gloves were soaking wet after 5 minutes in the snow and after 4 hours of not wearing, still wet. What a disappointment. January 27, 2011

The fit was also excellent for some very large extra large hands! They were purchased because the wearer is moving to the Ukraine and we are confident they will hold up well there, too. But the sizing is different. The fingers run long making them a size bigger but the palm is size-true, snug but not tight. Good dexterity. Kept his hands warm in this past NE snow blizzard-- but he was snow-shoeing. He doubts they would be as warm if being less active. Good glove for active winter sports. December 30, 2010
