Rated 5 out of 5 by Shoppingaddicted100 Review is for Bushnell 10x36 in black
I read all the reviews on all the binoculars LL Bean listed on their website before deciding on these. I was really glad I chose them. They are super for the price, comparing them to the $$$ models also listed. For what I will be using them for, these are great with superior quality lenses. The booklet that came with them is clear and simple to set the vision according to my eyes. These are the total package -- complete with a molded case with a neck strap & harness, a binocular neckstrap, a soft fabric drawstring bag, and a polishing cloth. They are lightweight and not large, so they are easy to handle. I am over-the-top pleased with this purchase! Thanks LL Bean for offering these to your customers.(Bushell is also a U.S. company, and they support the Folds of Honor Foundation, helping families of our fallen heroes.) What's not to like??

Rated 5 out of 5 by zebsmom Awesome Value
I'm a an avid birder and I own a Swarovski spotting scope. I took these binocs to Costa Rica not wanting to drag a tripod and scope around. I did lots of birding, sloth and monkey watching in the lowlight of the rainforest and didn't miss my spotting scope (ok, maybe a little, but you can't track warblers with a scope). I am incredibly impressed at the brightness and sharpness of these binoculars. I was a little worried about 8 power instead of 10, but never missed the higher power and the lower power made it easy for my non-birding friends to find a bird using the binoculars. (People who don't use binoculars alot sometimes have a hard time finding their subject and the higher power can make it harder until you are used to it.). I had them around my neck or in my backpack for 2 weeks and am absolutely thrilled with them. I would have thought these would have been much, much more expensive. I turned some friends into birders with these binoculars...they weren't interested until they looked through them.... 'nuf said.

I am an avid naturalist that enjoys great optics. My primary pair is Pentax DCF SP 10x43. I wanted a smaller size to lighten my load while hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I am an avid birder and absolutely require a bright and clear image. These legend binoculars have Ed low dispersion glass and a huge field of view. I actually enjoy the image color contrast better than my by far higher dollar Pentax. The adjustments work very well. They are compact, well built. It?s nice not having to spend $800.00 dollars to get the excellent view this optic provides.
The Pentax does win for heavy duty construction though for rough handling in the field. But these sell for considerably less money and even have a $50.00 rebate for Xmas ordering along with a free camo fleece jacket valued at $100 bucks. Included also is a nice shoulder harness free. Bushnell also offers a money back guarantee for 1 year to use and try. You would have to spend hundreds more dollars to get the view this optic provides.
I believe any birder/outdoorsman will find these an unbelievable value. The only other binocular I would get in this class for more money is the Vortex Viper 8x32.
Cons: One is the large case to carry binocular in instead of a compact case and the field of view is compromised by the limited eyecup twist up 2 clicks. It should have 1 more click to comfortably view without glasses. Another gripe is eyecups are a little loose, but acceptable. It also would be nice for a better system for the objective covers, but it does the job.
Overall, I couldn?t be happier with this purchase!!
