An exacting reproduction of our 1934 Zipper Duffle, this rugged leather-bottom duffle is made of waxed canvas with suede and oiled leather trim. Durable double leather handles, detachable shoulder strap. Top zip closure runs the length of the bag. One interior zip pocket. Fully lined in cotton canvas. Measures a generous 14 3/8"H x 27"W x 14 3/8"D. Imported.

I've used this bag several times now and it's been great. I have absolutely nothing negative to post about this product. I can see that they have changed the way the strap hooks attach to the bag from the pictures on the site to be a heavier-duty clasp (there are some earlier reviews on other sizes saying they could have more durable clasps), so I'm impressed. I really like this new Signature line, way to go LLBean! February 4, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by LaMigra Classic Duffle that will last for years I'd been looking for a replacement for my G.I. duffel when I stumbled across this bag online and I couldn't be happier with it. It's large enough for me to pack for a week and has classic good looks that can't be duplicated anywhere else that I've found today. The zipper, hardware and carry strap are all heavy duty and are holding up to 45-50 pound loads with no worries. The leather scuffs and quickly becomes unique, but with dressing it should last a lifetime. The only drawback is tha it is a bit large to use as a carry on, so the medium will be my next order. Wow, what a great bag. I like LL Bean a lot, but I am not quite there as being a convert. This may tip me over. It is real big bag, definitely a weekend bag for traveling. If you need something for everyday use, get the smaller one. The bag has lots of fine details. Real nice work guys. Great! September 14, 2011

I also have the Bean's Vacation Bag which is an attractive duffel, but is limited to a weekender - with both of these I'm ready for a 10 day trip to Napa/Sonoma - Wine country here I come...
