This sectional fits perfectly into a smaller room; it's light and easy to move. It looks good and feels good. The fabric texture and color is as advertised. One piece of four was slightly damaged in transit, but nothing serious, it is hidden underneath the chair, so of no big deal. One piece arrived missing a foot, but this was quickly remedied. We are well pleased with our purchase, which was reasonably priced. We would buy it again!

In the process of converting a large third-floor room in a 1906 house into a playroom for my grandchildren, I searched and searched for an attractive, durable sectional sofa that could be brought up a narrow staircase. It arrived a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely perfect. The blue denim looks great and my husband and I were able to carry up the pieces to the third floor on our own. We find it very comfortable and it looks fantastic. I have been a huge L.L.Bean fan all my life -- everything from clothes to outdoor furniture to kayaks. Once again, L.L. Bean didn't disappoint.

We saved forever to purchase this sofa and what a disappointment. The two velcro straps do not keep these sofa pieces together. I am always on my knees adjusting the straps- the sofa doesn't fit together tightly as in the picture- it has gaps- Always looks sloppy- tried to dress it up with throw pillows- Loved the sage color though-

I just recently purchased this in denim for my new house which is a cottage themed home and it fits in perfectly with my pine walls and white trim! It is firm which I like and very light weight which will make it easy to move to clean under. I have cork floors so it may slip some, will have to find out how good the velcro holds with time. Also it hasn't passed the "cat" test yet. My cats do not scratch on furniture but I hope their claws won't snag the material. I will update later if it seems to be a problem. So far I am thrilled with my purchase. I am going to order the ottoman to match.

I am happy with the way the product looks in our space - we were limited with space and this fits perfectly and looks wonderful. It falls apart CONSTANTLY - meaning the pieces disconnect from each other. I am also concerned with how well it might hold up over time. I am contemplating sending it back, but it really stinks to lose out on the delivery fee, and deal with the hassle.

First off, let's get the good out of the way. The sofa is very solid and durable. Now, the not so good - the sofa is very solid - and not comfortable in the least. It's like sitting on a wooden chair with fabric over it.
We purchased this sectional along with an additional middle section for our living room. It took almost two months to get the sofa. Not a deal breaker, yet. All in all, when you include freight, we paid a lot for this sofa. If you pay that much, you would expect everything to be right.
I had read in other reviews that the velcro strips did not do a great job holding the pieces together. They were right. On a hardwood floor, the velcro didn't stand a chance. So we bought an area rug ($) for our living room to keep the pieces in place. That didn't work either. The velcro was about as effective as using masking tape to hold the pieces together. So then I had to order metal clips from ebay - ($). The clips work great! My friend purchased a sofa from a local furniture store, and they had these same clips already installed. When you spend that much on a sofa, you would not expect the company that sold it to you to be so cheap as to include velcro straps that don't work! Put the real hardware on there and be done with it.
L.L. bean has a very generous return policy - and I thought about it - but the boxes were outside, got wet, and so I decided to keep it.
All in all, I paid too much money for this inferior product - live and learn.

I have been looking at this sectional for the past 4 years and reading the reviews on it. I finally went ahead and ordered it and I am so glad I did. I ordered the camel and it fits in perfectly with my living room. The fabric is wonderful and it is so comfy (a real concern given that I am 5'11). Made in the USA too! Thank you Bean, you've done it again!!!

I took a leap of faith, based on LL Bean's reputation and learned my lesson the hard way! And I do mean HARD. The sectional is so stiff, hard and uncomfortable that my whole family has had back pain ever since we got it. The seats are too shallow, and there is no position that is comfortable. The weirdest thing we have all noticed is that the seats slant down in the front, so we all feel like we're slowly falling forward. The fabric shows it's nap-meaning that it shows all kinds of marks-where you sit, if you brush your hand against it, etc. It arrived with what looked like creases in the fabric, where the edge of the box or something had leaned against it. The color is a BRIGHT gold, not a muted tan/gold as the picture shows. Of course they say it's returnable, but am I really going to box it up (of course we threw away the original shipping boxes before we realized how horrible the sectional was), arrange for a freight company and pay to ship the pieces back? UGH. SO DISAPPOINTED IN LL BEAN.

If it hadn't been for LLBean"s reputation and the good people who took the time to write a review, I don"t think I would have ordered this sectional, 2 chairs and 2 ottomans sight unseen. They arrived wrapped in heavy paper, inside boxes in perfect condition. Once unpacked I could see the quality of the material and furniture construction. Super lightweight and durable. They just look great! If you are looking for a soft plush comfy piece of furniture, these pieces are on the firm supported side. You do not sit down in this furniture, but sit more upright and on each piece. My family is well satisfied with this purchase. My leap of faith paid off!

Have had this sofa in my home for only 2 weeks and love it. It was packed very well for shipping, so the hardest part about setting it up was unpacking it. It is light and easy to move, the fabric is wonderful, and I have had no problems with the pieces separating because the Velcro holds securely. And my sectional is away from walls, so it HAS to hold together by itself. I can't say enough about how comfy it is. And the LLBean guarantee can't be beat.
