Maybe it's my fault for buying a sofa online, but this is one of the most expensive purchases I have ever made and regretted almost immediately. Pros: Nice color choices, lightweight, fits a smaller space, looks beautiful. Cons: Pitiful patches of Velcro to hold each section together (does not work), seat of the sofa is not deep enough-the back cushion is very nice and stays firm but the bottom of the sofa should be deeper-you just CANNOT curl up on this narrow space, and most importantly??? This sofa has a really odd pitch/angle to the seat cushion for some reason it feels like you are going to tumble right out in the floor. I hate sitting on it and pretty much don't for more than 5 minutes. I've had mine for 2 years and can't live with it another day. What good is form without function?

Rated 2 out of 5 by LowerUrExpectations Probably not a good long term choice
We bought this sofa six years ago and finally got rid of it (gave it away for free) yesterday. You have to realize two things - it is relatively inexpensive for a sectional and LL Bean makes it clear that it is light weight. So buyers need to take this into account and what this means -- it is not a high quality, heavy duty piece of furniture. It will not stand up to normal use. For a weekend or summer home or a room you hardly ever use, it might be ok.
I definitely don't recommend it for regular or long term use. After six years, here is my opinion: We used the couch daily and it became pretty uncomfortable after only one year. The fabric has performed VERY poorly -- snagged easily and looked very discolored and darkened from normal use. The foam inside the back cushions became misshapen after a year or so and became very lumpy and saggy looking. And of course, it does not stay together as others have noted.
Because this sectional is much cheaper in price than other comparably sized ones (small sectionals are actually more expensive than standard sized ones) I don't feel like I got a bad deal per se. I was able to use the sofa for six years. But I would warn others not to buy it if you plan to use it regularly or long term because you will be disappointed unless it's in a room that no one will see.
Also, this sofa seems great at first -- we loved it too, and notice how so many of the positive reviews are from people who have owned it for six months or less. Take it from me, after a year they will probably change their mind about it like we did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by baod Use duct tape to hold sections together!!
I bought this for a finished attic for the reason that it would fit up a narrow staircase and be light to carry. It is perfect for that. It is comfortable and stain resistant. the velcro does not hold the sections together so we taped the legs together with duct tape and it works perfectly.....

I have had this sectional for two years. At first I was pleased because it was the only sectional that I could find that was small enough for my space and it was a reasonable price. Even when it was new it didn't stay together very well. The problem has only gotten worse over time. I can't get the pieces to stay together at all. The positive feature that it comes as four separate pieces has turned into a major negative because they keep coming apart. In addition the sofa is pretty uncomfortable. Other reviews said it was stiff at first but after time became more comfortable. I don't agree. I am seriously considering replacing it with another sectional and trying the famous LL Bean return policy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by beaner66 Bad choice for us
I was encouraged when I read all the positive reviews on this sofa, so I went ahead and ordered it. It is the worst piece of furniture I've ever owned.
I have a 17 year old son and a dog. The biggest problem I have is that it is impossible to keep the sections attached to each other. I called after I received it and LLBean sent more Velcro to attach to the bottoms of the sections, but they have not helped. I have to adjust it EVERY DAY. Now that it has had some use, the cushions are getting wider and the frames are no longer flush.
It also attracts dog hair, so it needs to be constantly run over with a lint brush.
On the plus side, it's not uncomfortable, but I wouldn't call it a comfy couch. It cleans us well with a damp towel if there is a spill.
I've bought furniture from LLBean before, and I've always found it to be well built, until this piece. I wish they had made it a little heavier or found a better way to attach the sections.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rivieraman Excellent Buy
This sectional fits perfectly into a smaller room; it's light and easy to move. It looks good and feels good. The fabric texture and color is as advertised. One piece of four was slightly damaged in transit, but nothing serious, it is hidden underneath the chair, so of no big deal. One piece arrived missing a foot, but this was quickly remedied. We are well pleased with our purchase, which was reasonably priced. We would buy it again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by lionbg Just what I was looking for!
In the process of converting a large third-floor room in a 1906 house into a playroom for my grandchildren, I searched and searched for an attractive, durable sectional sofa that could be brought up a narrow staircase. It arrived a couple of weeks ago and was absolutely perfect. The blue denim looks great and my husband and I were able to carry up the pieces to the third floor on our own. We find it very comfortable and it looks fantastic. I have been a huge L.L.Bean fan all my life -- everything from clothes to outdoor furniture to kayaks. Once again, L.L. Bean didn't disappoint.

Rated 1 out of 5 by finnbar2013 Doesn't stay together
We saved forever to purchase this sofa and what a disappointment. The two velcro straps do not keep these sofa pieces together. I am always on my knees adjusting the straps- the sofa doesn't fit together tightly as in the picture- it has gaps- Always looks sloppy- tried to dress it up with throw pillows- Loved the sage color though-

Rated 5 out of 5 by karmarex Great couch so far!!
I just recently purchased this in denim for my new house which is a cottage themed home and it fits in perfectly with my pine walls and white trim! It is firm which I like and very light weight which will make it easy to move to clean under. I have cork floors so it may slip some, will have to find out how good the velcro holds with time. Also it hasn't passed the "cat" test yet. My cats do not scratch on furniture but I hope their claws won't snag the material. I will update later if it seems to be a problem. So far I am thrilled with my purchase. I am going to order the ottoman to match.
