Arrived sooner than expected, I am 66yrs old, took to the loft and put together by myself in less than 45 min. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. We live in a log home and it is exactly the look I wanted. Looks great with circle quilt! Plan on getting another one for downstairs bedroom. Thanks LLBean, once again, for excellent quality!,

I like this bed an awful lot. We ordered black and it goes extremely well with our antique oak furniture. The bed is very well made and sturdy. I would like to add that our quilt that I ordered from LL Bean adds to the beauty of things. Once we discovered all the parts and pieces it took us approximately one half hour to assemble it with two people working. If you want a bed to go with an antique setting this is the one for you.

I had been searching quite some time for an iron bed for our former daughter's room that was well made and wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. I had almost given up on finding one when an LL Bean catalog came in the mail before Thanksgiving this year prompting me to search its website where I came across this bed. It was exactly what I was looking for! After reading about the great quality and excellent customer service in the reviews and seeing what a great price it was, I took a chance and purchased this bed without actually seeing it in a store. I figured if there were any issues, they could easily be resolved with calls to customer service. I'm happy to report that the bed was delivered promptly, without damage or any missing parts, and that it took only about 45 minutes for my husband and son to put together. It's extremely sturdy and offers great support to the boxspring & mattress. It has been used by many friends and family members over the holidays and everyone loves it. If you decide to order this bed, you will not be disappointed.

I saw this bed at LLBean Freeport and purchased it immediately for my Florida home. The KING is a good value as usually king headboards cost as much as this compete bed. Instructions were easy to follow and not one piece was missing. It is a real beauty. I am thrilled with this purchase.

This bed was purchased in October. It came promptly. The assembly took some time for us, however as a reviewer noted turn each frame up-side down before mounting to ensure a good assembly. It does have a hammered look (small black circles) I recently purchased another in another size also. The only three things I could think of that would make this purchase better are: 1. the head-board feet were the same as foot-board feet. (for the weight and appearance it would add to the frame. 2. I did not have to assemble it. 3. I had a Lake house to place it into. As of today, I am one for three!

Exactly what I was looking for - a sturdy, inexpensive, clean-lined, attractive metal bed. Assembly was simple and took about a half hour. This bed is going into our guest room, and the color (a medium taupe with dark flecks) will work with all of my bedding.
I shopped around for a few months (both online and in B&M stores) before deciding on this bed, and it's a great value compared to the other metal beds on the market.
Highly recommend!

I'm a real fan of LLBean, but still I always read the reviews on a product before making a purchase. The reviews on the metal Lakehouse bed were very positive, so I went ahead and ordered, knowing that LLBean would allow me to return the bed if I wasn't satisfied. It arrived in a timely manner and we are very pleased with the style and how sturdy the bed is. I would definitely say if you like the looks of it online, then go ahead and order it. It is a quality product.

We had twin beds in the guest room and decided to put a queen in there instead. I saw this bed and read the good reviews. I've always been happy with my llbean purchases so I figured I couldn't go wrong. Boy am I ever smart! This bed is beautiful to look at and is super well made. My husband had no problem putting it together. The mattress fit perfectly and our guests will sleep in a great looking bed. We couldn't be happier. Delivered faster than expected. Thanks LLBean!

I bought this bed for my 6 year old grandson. His dad and granddad put it togther. Both are very impatient men and I did not hear any fustration from either. Both said it was easy to put together and seemed to be made of quality material. A previous review on this bed that I read when I purchased the bed regarding making sure you knew which piece was the headboard and which piece was the foodboard really helped out! My grandson loves his new bed and I plan on purchasing another for my younger grandson when it's time.
