Rated 5 out of 5 by SetterLover112 The best dog bed
I purchased two of these beds back in August and am so glad I did. I waited a few months to see how they held up before I wrote a review, and I am still quite pleased.
I have an Irish Setter and an Irish Red and White Setter that both weigh approximately 70lbs. I wanted a great, super comfortable, durable bed that would last them at least a few years so I decided to order two Large beds as the setters have such long legs and love to stretch out. While the area of the bed itself is quite large, the plump side bolsters do cover a nice bit of the sleeping area and in my opinion is just right if they want to curl up or flake out.
The denim is excellent because it is not hard or rough like I thought it might be. It is a nice thick denim that breathes very well, is easy to clean and so far has not even come close to being punctured by my Red and White's furious nesting or digging.
All in all I'm so pleased with these beds. The bolsters and memory foam are still in perfect shape despite multiple wrestling matches and dog pile black outs and I know the dogs love them because they spend so much time in them. The assembly was not difficult in my opinion, the instructions were easy to read and I like having pictures to help guide. The only bit of difficulty I had was initially getting the side bolsters in but with a bit of adjusting I had the hang of it and each bed only took me about 10 minutes (with no human help either).
As a bonus the shipping was very fast: the the order was placed, processed, shipped and delivered within 10 days (that includes weekends).
Overall the best bed. I may order myself one.

I or should I say, my dog has not had this couch for very long but it seems very well made and very durable. Love the zippers that are hidden and how it all goes together easily. I also really like that you can take it apart to wash.
Assembly was easy, it was together within 15 minutes or so. I followed other reviewers advice and looked at it right out of the box before turning it inside out which helped a lot. Then just followed the directions that are shipped with the couch. I will say, if you do not have good mobility, it will be a challenge - I purchased the large bed - Assembly for my mom who has a bad shoulder would have been a challenge, She could have done it but it would have taken longer with a few breaks tossed in.
After set up I had planned not to allow Gus, our boxer, on his new couch for 24 hours so the foam could fully inflate before he used it. I left the room and by the time I got back he was lounging and quite comfortable. I am hoping that he will decide this couch is more comfortable than my bed.
Use the weight table to guide you in your choice but more than anything you need to know how your dog likes to sleep. The bed sizes are listed on the page but they list the total dimension of the couch. If you call customer service, they can give you the inside dimensions. Gus may curl up but he prefers to spread out when he sleeps. The large is perfect for him but he is a small boxer, only about 60 pounds.
At this point I would recommend this product, it is the nicest bed I have come across and the most user friendly. It is expensive in my opinion but even the cheap dog beds aren't that cheap and frankly get old and worn fast. I am hoping this will be a long term investment in sleep quality for both of us.

MiaMeatheadsMom my meathead loves it!
seriously, my dog LOVES this bed. she's sleeping in it as i write this review.
ordered 3/6/13, it arrived 3/8/13. after reading other reviews, i thought assembly was going to be horrible. it wasn't. it took me maybe fifteen minutes to put together. the hard part was keeping the beast off the cover as i was trying to stuff it. it's almost as if she knew it was for her upon opening the box.
as many reviewers said, the bed is big! but it's no bigger than the dimensions in the item description. my 90lb dog has room for two or three friends in the extra large bed. if you aren't sure you have enough room for it, break out a measuring tape, folks!
anyway, we couldn't be happier withe product. i'm interested to see how it wears. but with the company's 100% satisfaction guarantee, i'm certain this was money well spent!

izzymcbee Got the xl bed & it fits 2 lg dogs + more
Our two English Mastiffs are not ginormous for the breed, but large dogs nonetheless - one is 125 the other 115. Hank and Izzy fit nicely together on the bed. I got it because Hank is 10 1/2 and having a harder time getting up on furniture. We wanted something comfy for him. He does not adjust to change very easily - when we got our couch he wouldn't sit on it for a couple of weeks. So, the fact that he's been on the dog bed is a good sign. Right now he prefers the couch if we are on it. Or our bed if we are on that. But I have found that he is more likely to use the llbean bed if there is a pillow or blanket that we have had on our bed. Izzy is more likely to sleep on the bed than Hank, but prefers company, so if Hank or the cat are not on it, she is torn. Best case scenario= blanket + fire in the fireplace + cat. That will get a dog on the bed every time. Although it was expensive, I think we will get a lot of use out of it. I am confident that Hank will come around and start sleeping there more regularly.

jbugs Great dog bed!!
This is a terrific dog bed overall. My 85 lb Labrador retriever loves it. I chose the therapeutic bed because she tends to be warm most of the time, especially in summer and I thought the regular stuffing bed would be too warm for her. The therapeutic bed allows her comfort to lay on but she doesn't sink into it too much. I only have one recommendation if you are considering a bed like this and that is in choosing a size. First I chose the extra large bed based on her weight and site recommendation. But that was so huge it was like a swimming pool! 2 large dogs could easily fit in an extra large. I returned that bed and got a large. It's much better but I think she would have been better off with a medium size, unfortunately, they were sold out at the time I was ordering the bed. The large does afford her room to spread out if she wants to which in the summer may be what she prefers. So, be sure to consider how your dog likes to sleep and take measurements of them while they are laying down. If your dog likes to curl up, I would go with a size down in this bed. But overall, this is a great bed with quality features that I'm sure will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Angwisconsin Awesome bed!
My two yellow labs love this bed! While I was trying to put the bed together, which literally took 5 minutes and was so easy following the instructions, they tried to lay on the bed. We got the extra large bed which is plenty big for them and gives them enough room so they don't have to share much space and they can sprawl out. Great quality and great price with 15% off and free shipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnotherPickyShopper problem solved
I spent a lot of time researching dog beds before deciding to purchase this one, and I definitely made the right decision. My dog loves this bed and kept crawling onto it while I was putting it together. To solve some of the problems others mentioned, I put a folded fleece blanket on top of the therapeutic foam mattress and encased that (foam + fleece) inside a Buddy Beds non-toxic waterproof dog bed liner. This keeps the foam protected from liquids and odors, while adding a soft layer on top to make the foam more comfy without losing the support. It also makes the mattress very easy to slide into the denim bed cover. My dog is a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel mix weighing 52 pounds. I got the large bed and the large waterproof bed liner. Both are the perfect size. The bed's outside dimensions are 44" x 34" and the inside dimensions are 32" x 28".

Rated 5 out of 5 by GoldnLvr Dogs love it.
Bought the first couch for our 8yr old Golden to give him a supportive place to sleep as he likes either the couch or the tile floor. Loves the bolsters and is firm enough to support him (100 pounds). Very durable so I bought the 2nd one. I keep one of the dog blankets on them so I can wash that vs taking off the covers. I learned from my mistakes when assembling the first one (the front tapered part of the bolster I hadn't stuffed in far enough at first) that the 2nd one was a breeze to assemble. I will be purchasing a third one in the near future as we now have 3 Goldens and the beds are never empty. Both of the beds get a lot of use. I bought the large size beds which work well with our dogs which range in weight from 80-100 pounds. The size charts are accurate - I measured the dogs while they were stretched out and bought the corresponding size. These are the only beds my dogs have actually used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by meagain1 Issue with mattress
The cover is fantastic, thick, durable. I bought the Khaki and it was darker, more 'tan' color than I anticipated. Brown really. Not for me.
The 'therapeutic' mattress is NOT memory foam. There is only a very thin sheet of egg crate memory foam on top of regular dense foam. My 42 pound yet large dog was basically laying on top of it as if laying on the floor. She chose Beans regular mattress repeatedly. I plan to purchase a memory foam bed topper and cut it up and add a 2-3" layer of memory foam under her regular mattress for what I hope will be the perfect bed.

Praia Dogs love it, I kind of don't for selfish reasons
I mainly got this bed, because one of my spaniels is arthritic from a torn cruciate ligament. I got the medium for my 32lb dog and it's the perfect size. It's large enough that my other spaniel can join him on the bed as well. Some people complain that the dog is sized too large, but I found the sizing to be perfect for my dog that likes to stretch out while sleeping.
The bed was easy to put together. I did it by myself within 10 minutes by following the included instruction sheet. The fabric is strong and hasn't been damaged at all by all the digging my dogs do when nesting down for the night. I do provide a fleece blanket on top to help protect the fabric of the bed. The cushion is very comfortable and retains its shape even with two dogs sleeping on it. They love the bolstered sides that act as pillows and provide them with a sense of security,
I'm happy that the dogs love this bed as much as they do, but it's also been disappointing to me as the dogs never want to sleep with me on the bed anymore. Apparently they love the bed now more than they love me.
