Great looking and durable shoe that lasted my two active boys the entire winter. They are easy to put on for the kids - no laces. Perfect for cold days at school - walking to bus, outside recess, etc., with a sole that can be worn at gym class. The toggles/laces broke at end of winter, though. Will buy them again for next year.

This may say it all: My most recent purchase of the Kids' Comfort Mocs is the FIFTH pair of these shoes that I've bought from LLBean. They're the best kids' shoes I've found in the 13 years since I became a mom -- They beat the boutique kids' sneaker & hiking shoe brands hands down.
Both of my children have worn & outgrown several pairs. These shoes are comfortable, durable, and good looking. They're perfect for gym days and, after the school year, last for the summer hiking in the woods & trekking down to the lake. Because they tie with a bungee cord & clip, I don't have to say, "Tie your shoes!" again & again... I'm disappointed that they're not made in bigger sizes because I would love for my kids to be able to get a new pair of these every year during middle school as their feet grow.

These hikers are by far my son's favorite shoes ever. We have been through several pairs, simply because of growing feet! A true necessity in our home, we wouldn't be without them. Easy on, easy off, no laces to tie for little boys in a hurry. Yay for these shoes!!

Living in the Pacific NW can make for very rainy and wet winters. My 9 year old grandson was constantly coming home with wet feet. So I bought him these shoes, problem solved!! The toggle broke a few months in, and when I contacted LLBean they set me up for a no hassle return & replacement! My grandson loves them and was delighted to get the new replacement pair! I am so impressed with the product and customer service that we've received!! We will definitely be making many more purchases with LLBean in the future!

My 7 yr old loves these. They fit him well, he likes the color and slip on quick style. Seemingly good quality. He's only had them a couple weeks though, so it's hard to say how the'll wear right now. I need to revisit this site in a few months to really give these a true review.

I ordered these shoes from my son, size 4 but they turned out to be too small. But with one size up, size 5, they turned out to be great. Very sturdy and perfect when he does not need snow boots but it is too cold for sneakers.

So disappointed in this shoe: LOVED the look, fit, and price of this shoe -- as did my 6 y/o boy. However, the shoe falls apart: pull-tie laces de-thread; shoe structure falls apart at the toe.? This is a shoe made for kids. Kids should outgrow their shoes before they fall apart. My son wore this shoe (in rotation with 2 other pairs of shoes) for 2 months, and already, the shoes are falling apart. [This happened to 2 pairs of a similar, lighter-model version that is no longer available? perhaps because others returned them, too?)
