Rated 4 out of 5 by mammag2 Warm, pretty color
I wanted a winter robe for warmth. I am 5'2" and about 120# and the XS was a good fit. The length came down to just above ankle height. The sleeves are a little long but you can always roll them up if you need to do something with your hands. The color ,Elderberry, is a pretty deep plum color. I gave it 4 stars because I would have liked it longer but the bigger size would have been too big everywhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sayde Just bought a second one
Wrote a review before ordering, asking for this to be offered in gray or black. Then decided to order one, in the cream color. After wearing it for a day or so, used the $10 coupon to order a second one, also cream. Yes it is loose and the sleeves are long but it is so soft and cozy. I had returned two other robes from other vendors and was starting to think I would never find anything I liked to replace my ancient fleece robe, no longer made. This is just a delight. The cream is totally impractical but such a treat. At the sale price plus coupon I can indulge in a second one to alternate with the first. If this robe is offered in a gray color next season I will buy a third. Please maintain the quality -- would not like to pay more but would rather do that than discover my (next) new robe is less wonderful than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bbladymi nice long winter robe
I had been looking for a warm winter robe. Features I like: 2-way zipper and 2 pockets (patch pockets). The length (about top of ankle-length) is almost as long as I wanted. This robe looks good; it is sleek, yet has enough room for comfortable sitting. The 2-way zipper goes all the way to the top of the collar, making it a turtleneck, if you want to zip it that high. My only wish is that the fleece were a tad heavier, although it certainly is not a light-weight fleece.

Robe keeps you warm, but is not heavy. Washes and dries beautifully. It does run large so if you normally buy a medium, you may want to buy a small. Great product that lives up to the LLBean standard. Not only would I recommend it to a friend, I bought it for a friend and she loves it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sayde Great fabric but please consider . . .
a couple of changes. First, I would prefer on-seam pockets. Patch pockets always bulge and look bad. Second please make this in black and in a nice mid grey. Please offer at least one -- either black or grey -- in addition to one or two jewel tones. You would cover more preferences having a couple of dark neutrals and a couple of deep saturated colors. I only wear black, grey and white and would not want this robe in a pale color. Third, stock more petite sizes. They were OOS well before the regular sizes. I am 5'3" and do not want the robe down at my ankles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pammy5551 Very warm and comfortable
This is the second fleece robe from L.L. Bean that I have owned; I had the wrap style before, and just wore it to death. I like that this is zip style, not having to keep up with a belt. It washes well, but I don't put it in the dryer; I hang it up to dry in my laundry room, and it drys quickly. It seems that my size, Large, always sells out by the time they are put on sale, but it's worth every penny of the regular price; I would order another, if needed, in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by superbusymomma runs a little big
Warm, comfy, easy to get into and out with the convenient double zipper. I considered returning it for a size smaller because it runs a bit large, but decided to keep it when I realized the next size smaller was not available. ehh, who wants a robe to fit too tight anyhow? Good purchase, satisfied with the product and came through the washer fine, also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kward Couldn't be happier...
So happy with this robe. The plush fabric is a bit on the heavier side, but with the sub-zero cold we've had in the Midwest this winter...it's perfect. I'll have to get another robe for spring/summer, but this one is so worth it. The fabric is thick, plush and soft. The 2-way zipper makes it easy to get in/out of. The sleeves are a tad long, but they stay up when you roll them up out of the way. And when you want the warmth, you just unroll them. I am 5'6" and a pear shaped 2x. This robe is fuller cut on the fuller side and fits me very well ... not snug at all. I absolutely love that the robe is ankle length. I never find that anymore.... everything I find is always mid-calf. This is a wonderful robe and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. You won't be sorry.

I like this very much and wish you made a Turkish terry cloth robe in the same style and length. At least have the option of this style and the belted style for anyone who wants it (the belted sytle on a short person is not at all flattering) I am 5'3" and after finding out the actual length from the customer service rep ordered a XS regular, not a petite and am happy I did. The regular is right at my ankles and not at mid calf. I will never understand why winter robes and nightgowns end in the middle of the calf, floor length looks better and is warmer as well. The color is not quite a true red and has a bit of a burgundy cast but while I would prefer a true red this will be ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SandwichGirl The best robe I have ever owned.
I have owned many robes, but this is by far the best. I wait to review a product so I can see how it washes, wears and performs over time. First, this robe is warm, warm enough for the cold winter nights when the north wind howls, warm enough for the cold winter mornings when the blizzard knocks the power out. Second, is the zipper, I love this zipper. This is a robe that can be unzipped from the bottom like my llbean parka. Ladies this is important on the cold nights in the bathroom. Third, it washes up like a dream and is as still soft and warm as it was brand new. Buy one for yourself, and one for someone you love. Also free monograming a fun touch.
