I got these a couple of weeks ago and they're wonderful! The fabric is nice and soft and they've been plenty warm. I got the Flag Blue color and it's a nice, soft blue. The trim is a nice accent to the fabric.
I'm 5'4" and the length is a bit long but manageable. The pants do fit me a bit more loosely than the top does, but that may just be due to my particular figure.
I anticipate getting a lot of use out of these this winter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SnohomishShopper Shrank horribly - but fabric is wonderful
Yep, these shrank when I washed them the first time. The pants are ok, but the top is way to tight now. (I tried them on before washing.)
The fabric is really nice and not flimsy. I am going to purchase a separate top.
My recommendation is to order a size up.
I am a long time LLBean customer, and will continue to be. This item is one of a very few disappointments from LLBean.

Lovely PJs. I bought my mother a blue pair last year and a red pair this year. I only wish they came in more colors (white is out of the question). These PJs are a heavier-weight flannel than the tartan PJs, they have enough elastic in the waist that there's flexibility for weight changes, and they have a drawstring. Mom loves them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HollyD Great jammies, just too roomy.
These are darling jammies for my Mom, but the cut is *VERY* roomy, and I must order a small for her. She typically wears a women's 8 or 10 (she's tall and lean) but I could fit two of her in the pants. I'll send them back in exchange for the smaller pair, but we are thrilled with the gorgeous fiery red color, and the quality is outstanding.

I was disappointed in the fit (xl and the sleeves are short) . There are no pockets in the pants and a small, useless pocket on the top. All of the men's PJ's have pockets. Women need pockets too!

I love these pajamas. They are soft and beautiful. I recommend washing them by hand for the first washing. They do have excess dye, but the water ran clear after the 3rd rinsing. Now I am confident that I can wash them in the washer with the darks and not worry about dye transfer.
I'm very happy that I purchased these.

These are nice PJs but they run big. I am 5'2" and 120 lbs. and the small fits a bit too baggy. I wish I had ordered the extra small but because I had the PJs monogramed, I'm going to go ahead and keep them.

I have had a pale blue pair of these pj's for about 10 years, and they are still in great shape, despite the act that I wear them virtually every night, winter and summer. I am sorry that there are no other colours offered now except navy, and that people find the sizing off - I hope that doesn't mean the sizing has changed! Please add a variety of colours in next winter's line, L.L. Bean!

...but gave these pajamas 5 stars? That's right. By the time I ordered, my size was no longer available. The description said 'relaxed fit' so I gambled and purchased the still-available one-size-smaller than what I normally wear. Alas, not quite a fit! Beautiful tailoring, very soft fabric, lovely blue color. Hoping that LLB will offer lots more of these PJs - in equally soft colors - for next winter's line. I'll order early next time :)

I love the soft flannel as well as the relaxing dot print. The garment is well made. However, the pants are cut high in the crotch (more like day-time pants). I would prefer 1 to 2 inches more room. I don't like pajama bottoms to bind.
Another comment: why so many labels on the pants? Could the "LLBean" and size labels be combined? Could the 3 labels just below the waist (i.e. 2 labels 1", and 1 label 2") be combined, or shrunk in size, or maybe moved to near the ankle? The 3 labels just below the waist are annoying; I will remove them.
