Rated 5 out of 5 by 6ahsat7 Henley Waffle shirt
I am just disappointed that the Henleys that I wanted to order are not available on line today. I ordered one, recently, and loved the fit(haven't washed it yet, but love it! Would have ordered more colors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by llamapacker Lightweight, runs small
This is a pretty thin, lightweight knit. I ordered my usual XS and found that it fit like it was sprayed on. Am sending it back for a M to see if that looks less like long underwear and more like a shirt. Wish they would carry a Henley in a more substantial material.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mmed Great layer, runs small
Based on earlier reviews, I ordered a Large instead of my usual Medium. I was surprised to find that the overal length and sleeve length were a bit short for me. The shirt feels wonderful, but even the Large is a little snug. I am going to try a larger size. If I find the correct size, I plan to purchase more of these shirts for winter layering.

Rated 1 out of 5 Poor Knit
I just purchased 3 waffle knit women's shirts and one I just wore once or twice, I noticed 4 tiny holes which I tried to stitch and they grew larger. these waffle knits are not as good as the ones you sold before that were all cotton.

Rated 5 out of 5 by smokymountainhiker7 cozy, keeps its shape.
I love thermal henley shirts, but have had a problem finding high quality pieces in the past. Most shirts in this style are made for teens and feel somewhat disposable, and definitely too short. When I realized L.L. Bean made the style, I ordered immediately. I purchased the navy color and it is a staple of my cooler-weather wardrobe. There is an appropriate amount of stretch in the fabric which allows the shirt to keep its shape and its fit is generous without being ill-fitting or sloppy. I am somewhat long in the waist and It still comes down to about an inch or two below the waistband of my pants. The color is still the same as the day I bought it. Note: I don't dry mine in the dryer. I hang it up. So while it hasn't shrunken in the wash, I can't attest to how it will do with a heated dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MaryInAK Waffle-Knit Henley Buy it!
I bought this shirt in blue aster and pine heather colors and just love them. I did buy them up one size as I wanted the fit to be a little loose to wear them over a layer or two in winter. The colors are beautiful and the shirts are nice and soft and not too heavy.

I now own three of these tops and just love them ! There nice and soft and wash up well. They are the first tops I tend to grab on those cold winter days when I want to layer or just wear alone on the nice cool fall days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Run6014 This should be marketed under "Classics"
I've considered buying a Waffle-Knit Henley before but always opted for a crew neck long-sleeved shirt. This time, I ordered the solid gray Waffle-Knit Henley. It should be marketed as one of LL Bean's "Classics": the shirt won't go out of style, it's well made, the fit is perfect, and it launders well.
I bought the gray to coordinate with other LL Bean clothes I own. The shirt looks great under flannel shirts and fleece vests or, alternatively, it can be worn on its own.
So, a true 5-star product.

Generally I wear medium in LL Bean tops. But for these Henley
I ordered large to allow for shrinking as other reviewers reported that shrinking had happened. I immediately washed one of the two that I purchased and tried it on. It was Fine!!! I washed the shirt in cold water and dried with the cotton cool down cycle...
Now I am looking forward to weather a bit cooler so that I can wear my new Henley!
