Rated 5 out of 5 by KatJL Meets All My Criteria!
I just bought two non-lined and three lined big shirts in small/misses sleeve length. However, I had to send two orders back before I found the right fit for me. I am 5'2" and 155 lbs. 40/36/43. According to the size chart, I should wear a large petite, but based on other reviews, I first ordered medium/misses. I felt like I was swimming in them - seriously too large to be comfortable or flattering on me. So, I then ordered small/petite. I like very comfortable clothes - I'm a Taurus after all, so I was surprised that the small was just perfect for me. However the petite sleeves were very short. I ultimately ended up being very happy with small/misses size which worked for both lined and unlined. The lined ones are very warm, and although I tend to be a cold person, at first I worried they might be two warm, but now that the days have become cooler going into Sept. in the Pacific Northwest, they are just fine. They meet all of my criteria - no iron, soft, comfortable, flattering, OK for my relaxed work environment and fun colors plus black/lined (which is back-ordered.) I wear them every day!

Rated 4 out of 5 by CottageGran Fabric issues with my favorite shirt
The corduroy doesn't seem as dense in the FIG as the other colors. Click on the picture of the FIG color, and zoom in twice on the shoulder, you see what appears as stripes. THAT'S what my shirt looks like all over. Stripes! Never saw this problem with other colors. FIG is beautiful, having more brown undertones than it shows, but what we notice are the stripes. Holding it up to the light, you can see through the fabric in FIG. Maybe mine is the only one with this flaw. I reordered Peacock, after my previous shirt seemed to have several flaws, and I am very happy with the replacement! Glad I gave Peacock another chance. These are still my favorite shirts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jgca Very disappointed
These shirts have been mainstays for years...currently have 4 in rotation and have worn through 2-3 more. But the latest shirt, purchased (on sale) is disappointing: the color is not as depicted (more like the plum than the "arctic purple" that I ordered; the fabric is thinner than in the past; and the cut is fuller. I will try again at some point but a little discouraged by quality issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cliffwoman Need Big Shirt in BLACK
I have 4 corduroy big shirts and love them. I used to have one in black which I wore constantly and lost it. Since then (over a year) it has not been offered in black again. Please, please bring it back in BLACK! When I spoke with someone a year or so ago, she said there were no plans to have it in black again. Say it isn't so. Please.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CottageGran Love the shirt, not the colors
I have 3 of these shirts that I've loved for years, and still want to buy more. I wish they sold a card of fabric swatches so we would be able to see what this fabric looks like in real life. Peacock Blue is a grayed down greenish teal blue, so not great with jeans. The shirt I received had not been sewn properly on the front facing, showing a white strip if the shirt opens. There were stitches coming undone, a bit of red thread that honestly looked like a repair, and one shoulder puckered at the back pleat. Peony is too mauve for me, washing me out. Arctic purple looks old and faded. Garnet looks like a Santa shirt. Cobalt is extremely bright. But Poppy is a happy ruby color. Brightwater blue looks fresh and very much like the pictures. I still may try some of the new colors, but it's always a gamble. No use to keep something that makes me look tired and washed out. I'd love to see basic colors, black, winter white, and pastels offered again. I'm 5', 107 lbs, the petite XS fits perfectly, sleeve length is perfect, flattering as a shirt or jacket. My favorite shirt. I'm a "summer", for those who understand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smashed I'm in Love!
Love love love these shirts! I have 6 (now 7 including this one) in different colors. 4 are lined and 3 are not, and I absolutely live in them when the temps allow it. The fit is great for me (I like things a little loose) and the fabric is so cozy! For reference, I am 5'4", 135 lbs, 64, and pretty active. I always get the medium so there's room for a turtleneck in the winter or a T-shirt in the spring or fall. All the shirts have washed and dried well, except one (the lining shrunk more than the shirt, creating a sag in the back). I exchanged it with no problem or delay and have been happy with the replacement. I HIGHLY recommend these shirts and just want more colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MsTeapot I have two dozen!!!
I knew I had a lot of these, but I was rather surprised when I counted them up: 21 unlined, 3 lined. These shirts are wonderful. I wear them to work over a polo shirt every day from fall through to spring. The dark jewel colors are my favorites, but I wear them all. I wish LLBean would coordinate their polo shirt colors with the corduroy big shirt colors. Some of the shirts don't get as much use because I don't have good matches for them.
I am short and pudgy. These shirts fit me and are so comfortable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by NN4CR Country Pink for a Country Girl
This extremely well-made and detailed shirt harkens back to the old LLB style, which I call "rural chic." Outdoorsy, classic, feminine not frilly, confident, with a generous fit, maximum comfort, top quality.
The "country pink" looked dull on my monitor, but it's a soft peachy pink (not a carnation pink). Almost the only color of this shirt that can be worn in warm seasons.
Wish LLB would pattern some lighter-weight "big shirts" after this design. This length is ideal for so many women, for both appearance and comfort.

Love this warm, comfortable, attractive shirt. The poppy color is nice but actually more pink than red. Runs large.

Have had two black ones, on sale, for years. My husband got me a light blue one for the holidays, and it actually fit better. Black ones both were kind of skimpy in the sleeves, not so the light blue. Y
