I love everything about the socks except
the color. They are stated to be oatmeal,
in color, but they are green.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Goot Toe seam thick and bulky
I would have given these a 5 if the stitching that holds the toe end together didn't end in a big clump on one of the socks. So disappointed. Feel wonderful, stay up but are not tight around the calf, great quality, nice looking. One fatal flaw. Will be returning these.

LL Bean makes such wonderful products that I had to try their socks. I purchased 3 pairs (2 grey and 1 ivory). My mother and I love them. They are durable, soft and warm. We live in two different climates (NH and FL) and we both will be wearing them this winter.

I bought three pairs of these socks hoping that when it stated they were 'slouch free' that they would stay up. Unfortunately, they stretched somewhat after the first wear, enabling them to easily slide down my leg. They are a great looking sock and from their construction there is no doubt they are durable and will last with normal use so I would still recommend them. However, I wouldn't recommend them if, like me, you are looking for a sock that stays up as they tend to turn into a 'slouch' sock afterall. So disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5áby CincyLibrarian Just ok socks
I bought these in hopes that they would be bulky or thick like some other reviewers said they are, but they're neither bulky nor thick. They're just your average trouser sock. I kept them, but I wont' be wearing them with my clogs as I had hoped.

Rated 3 out of 5áby kathrynkayaker too bulky for me
I bought these looking for a more economical alternative to those I usually buy. These are bulky...they're fine for wearing with clogs or boots, but I was expecting a less bulky sock since they are trouser socks. Other than that, they are fine; not something I would buy again though.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ShayS Socks that FIT!!! oh my!
I was tired of purchasing boys socks and regular women's socks never fit well. I wear a small in this sock and it fits similarly to the SmartWool socks that cost $15.99 per pair. These socks feel great. I have only had them a short time, but thus far I am very happy with the fit and price. I expect to be ordering more and then I can finally get rid of all of those socks that don't fit me and are uncomfortable. No more sock heels that go up past my ankles. Thanks L.L. Bean.

I had ordered one pair of these socks a few months ago and liked it so well that I just ordered more, to have all the available colors. Do beware--though the oatmeal looks like an off-white or cream color onscreen, when arriving the pair was a tan color instead. The socks are substantial in weight and comfortable. Also of essential importance, they are sized, so that there is not all the extra length at the heel of typical "one-size-fits-all" socks for us people with smaller feet. Please, L.L.Bean, keep them permanently in your offerings and bring them out in more colors.

I bought two pairs of these and was initially impressed by their apparant quality & nice hefty weight. But the first time I actually walked around in them all day, I could hardly wait to get home and take them off. The seams in the toes are not just bulky, but actually scratchy. My littlest toes were sore by the time I got home. If your feet are even moderately senstitive, stay away from these socks.
