Rated 5 out of 5 by mg53garden wonderful jacket
This jacket is comfortable and warm but not hot. The detail is very nice.
The only thing that could have made this more ideal for me would have been a pretty color. I bought the stone as the colors were unavailable

Rated 5 out of 5 by bethanndee Nice coat - runs big!
This is my third LL Bean barn coat over the years, and it continues to be a stylish, rugged, and useful 3 season coat. Please note that it runs big. I am on the borderline between 2 sizes at LL Bean. I ordered the smaller size, and it's still very roomy.

This is my second one of this style. Only reason I bought a second was I got bleach on the first one and wanted one in good shape that I could wear out of the barn as well as in it! It allows for good range of motion and allows me to do real barn work comfortably. Plus it is warm and looks good! I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rainbow27 Adirondack barn jacket
I just received my stone barn jacket today. :) It's great for the spring/fall seasons when you don't need to wear anything too heavy. I'm so glad that I read the reviews and ordered a size down. I'm usually a Medium in LL bean shirts etc., but the small in the barn jacket fits perfectly. Thanks for another great product!

Neutral color that goes with everything; well made; flannel lined for light warmth - everything I need for the transition season.

I've been wearing LL Bean's barn coats for 16 years now, replacing them only when I've worn holes in them. I wear the insulated one in winter and the flannel-lined one from spring through fall. These coats get worn practically every day when I feed horses and do barn chores. I normally wear a size 8 or medium, but I find that size Small in these barn coats is a perfect fit. Both coats stand up to repeated washings. I hope LL Bean continues to offer barn coats. The styling has changed a bit over the years, but they continue to be the best for the job.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NJCA I really wanted to love this jacket, but...
I had a similar coat for MANY years. It was just looking too shabby, so I sprung for another. I chose the rustic red color. The coat arrived: it looked fabulous, the color was terrific, the fit....not so much. Something about the cut is weird; and not comfortable. It is too tight in the shoulder area, even though it is roomy in the rest of the jacket. I ordered the same size I always order - medium. Also, my old jacket had pockets in the front with no flap. Hands or change or whatever is easy in, easy out. This new jacket has a flap over each pocket. Sticking items or your hands in them is awkward. Sadly, I will return this jacket :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kristin789 As advertised and pictured; just what I wanted.
Have already used the jacket three times in a week. Even though MA is still in the 30's some days, jacket is warm enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Theotherhalf Great petite fit and very comfortable.
I was impressed with quick delivery. I received my jacket less than a week from order date. The Barn Coat is a light, comfortable and warm jacket. It is not bulky while driving and easy care. I thought that buttons and I would not get along but then, you can sew one back on if you loose one. Snaps and zippers are much harder to replace. I am very impressed with my purchase, so are my coworkers.

I have the insulated barn coat for temperatures in the 40's and below. This one works well for temperatures in the 50's and 60's. It fits comfortably with a waffle knit henley. I am 4'11 and the sleeves are perfect length. This is a coat that I am at ease wearing.
