Rated 5 out of 5 by Butchsbest Great for the cold climate
I gave these as a gift to my son he couldn't wait to get them on especially with the massive cold front that moved in the other day. He seems to be totally happy with them.

Totally satisfied. Size did not run as large as expected but ok. The same product in a heavier weight would be even better.

Just used for one hunting trip. It wasn't too cold out so I guess all I have to say for now is the fit was perfect for my size. 40" chest, 34" waist medium build. The set was very soft and absolutely as comfortable if not more than cotton. I wore for 3 days (no shower) and didn't have any smell/stink that I could notice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SocalCustomer1 Good quality, warm, and machine washable!
These pants are made with great quality material. Really keep you warm. Cold winds don't pierce through them easily. The great thing about them is that they are machine washable, unlike other wool clothing that shrinks after wash. Excellent.

I purchased based on the reviews. Thank you all. These are what I was looking for. 38 waist 32 inseam. Fits like a glove. I can wear under slacks. They have been good for temps in the 40's. Have not yet worn in freezing weather.

I bought the Cresta Wool mid-weight base layer pants (and top) last winter and absolutely love them. I usually have a reaction to wool blends, but NOT with these. I live in PA and hike and cycle through the winter. The best investment I ever made. I just purchased my 2nd pair this Sept 2014. Thank you LLBean!

Warm and not to the point of sweating. Absorbs water so your skin is not cold. I work outside and would not use anything else to keep warm in winter.
