Rated 5 out of 5 by carouselwing cold natured man is now HOT
My boyfriend is the coldest natured man I have ever met and I got him a pair of these for Christmas last year and he only takes them off, to wash them, or himself. He is now a "happy camper" and doesn't complain about the cold at all. I have bought him a couple more pairs for Christmas this year (shhhh) don't tell him, it's a surprise. Now he will have a pair and a spare. :)

TheShark Excessively Long Inseam
Received a size large tall pair for slim 6'3'' body with 35 inch inseam. Tall usually means +2 inches on a standard 32" measurement, but the inseam on these almost 40 inches overall. I am rolling up quite a bit at the bottom and that is not ideal. The pants are warm and I recommend them if the sizing is right for the customer. Two stars deducted from what should be a great product due to poor sizing. Too bad LL Bean doesn't give more detailed measurements on the product info page.

I tried both the large and medium sizes of this product and both were too long. (I'm a 35 waist, 32 length.) Both pairs bunched at the ankle. Since I wanted these primarily for skiing, that's a big problem as it will be very uncomfortable inside your ski boot. So both pairs went back. I never wore them so can't speak to how well they would've worked, unfortunately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Likes2Adventure Great baselayer!
Love these. I wear these as my base layer for essentially every activity I do where I am outdoors. They are so comfortable. I most commonly wear them under a hardshell pant when I go ice climbing. Or if at work I wear these and then put my cover-alls on over them.
I have a 31" waist and am 5'10" The medium fits me great. Recently I wore them out for a twelve mile hike under my hardshells. The expedition weight & power dry kept my legs warm during breaks and dry while hiking all day long. When we got back to the vehicle my base layer pants were not damp at all.
I have nothing negative to say about this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ArcticLLBeanShopper Warm & Dry
We live 60 miles from the Arctic Circle in Canada where the weather can often hit -45F plus windchill and since my husband works at the airport here, he is exposed to this for hours every day, so he was looking for a warm base layer. He likes how they are very soft, and the legs cling nicely so there isn't any bulk under his work pants and bib. They are long enough that they cover his ankles and he tucks them into his socks so they don't ride out of his boots. The seams are flat so they don't rub anywear which makes them very comfortable. They do wick the sweat away, because when you are working sometimes you get sweaty, and yet he doesn't get cold because there is no sweat against his body. They didn't shrink when we washed them either. We ordered a 2nd pair because he likes them so much. The only reason we gave it a 4 star is that they are long in the rise so they oome up fairly high on his torso and he has plenty of torso to cover...love you honey :) so on anyone who doesn't have a tummy they might find they are super long. But maybe they just fit my husband strangely? All in all, they are a great price, and they are soft and comfortable and he uses them to lounge in when he is off work.

Because of the mild weather thus far in RI, I have not used this product. I have tried it on and found it to be soft and comfortable. i am 5'6' tall and 156 pounds. I purchased the medium size and found the pants to be about 2' too long but better long than short with this product.I think this is going to turn out to be an excellnt purchase.

Love the thin feeling of this product as well as the comfortability. It is a wonderful product!

Fit well, no irritating "bunching", warm. Too early to tell, but seems long-lasting.

Needed product asap for my husband during snow storms; was disappointed in
workmanship especially at that price- waistband sown onto material was uneven & missing spots; washed well.

I bought 2 pairs for my husband who drives a fuel truck. He's out in all kinds of weather and says these keep him warm as toast. He says he's the warmest guy out there thanks to me! I just put in an order for one more pair, which won't be available till June, but that's ok, he's got two to work with. I would recommend! Being warm in cold weather is worth the money.
