Rated 5 out of 5 best if dirty
Okay, so I bought this thing 2 1/2 years ago. It seemed pretty sold, rip stop nylon, heavy zippers, maybe a little bigger than what I needed but any fanny pack I bought anywhere else never lasted a year. And it was cheap because it was new or out of stock or whatever. Anyway, it had a stain. You wouldn't notice it was even there, but, hey, two and a half years in an ER, I figured it was time to wash it. That probably wasn't the best Idea I ever had. I ordered another one.
I saw some other review and they complained about the belt slipping, Mine was starting to do that, but it worked. Just don't wash it.

I loved the Lumbar Pack, very comfortable, has a lot of room, well designed, light weight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LTHS lumbar pack
A little too bulky for the amount of stuff it holds. Zipper tough to open when carried on your waist. Carry handle is too small.
May be better than a backpack for hiking trails in a 2-3 hour stint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by skinut97 great pack!
I bought this for a friend and he is beyond pleased with this fanny pack. It is comfortable to wear, with great padding on the side closest to the body, and it is roomy without being too cumbersome. He's using it for spring skiing and everything he used to fit in his jacket pockets he fits in this pack. Regarding the size: he takes a 36" pant size and it fits great, although it might not fit a person with a 40"+ pant size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BangBang007 Nice for biking, but not for walking around town
I wanted a waistpack I could wear to festivals and walking around town when we travel. This one turned out to be just a little too heavy and bulky. There's a large padded section in the back (I guess that's what makes it a "lumbar" pack), which is unnecessary when I'm just carrying my iPhone, wallet, and a few other items. I'll use this pack for lengthy bike rides instead.
On another website, I found an ultra-lightweight waistpack to wear for town-touring, and I just purchased the LLBean Mountainsmith Lumbar Pack Swift TLS for hiking, because that one holds water bottles too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WalkingUpIsHardToDo Thoroughly impressed
I've had the opportunity to wear this on two different week long trips and it really did the job. I was able to fit my wallet, smart phone, larger P&S camera as well as batteries,mp3 player and small tool combo without the whole thing feeling like a listing cargo ship. I could tighten the sash and it stayed put.
I've had other waist packs from LLB - the lumbar models- and they were just too bulky. I found this this to be unobtrusive while walking at a quick gait and still comfortable after a whole day of wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hattorikun Good size and waterproof
I'm enjoying the item overall, but the double zippers are not very easy to open and close. Also, the belt gets loose while walking unless one has a very large waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanFan84 Great Lumbar Pack
Lots of compartments for space. The outside zippered pocket is great for keys, complete with a key fob, and easy access items, like cell phone. There is a good sized secure zippered inside pocket for credit card, cash, insurance card, AAA, etc. The large inside space is good fort a camera, guidebook, sunglasses whatever you need for the day.
The pack is attractive and well made and a good price..

Rated 5 out of 5 by fiveofus Comfortable and Utilitarian
The Lumbar Pack is fantastic! It's large enough to carry all essentials such as keys, wallet, calculator, cell phone, change purse, hairbrush, mirror, and treats for my SAR puppy-in-training. And, there's still room leftover! It's also comfortable and lightweight. I love it and highly recommend it for hiking or everyday use.
