Rated 5 out of 5 by Queeniereads Expands for larger sizes!
Bought this so I could go biking since my bike does not support a basket. Expands to my not-yet-svelt waist size. Pretty color (turquoise) and the usual good quality of LL Bean backpacks, shaving kit bags, etc. Good price and highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tsizzle Great Buy
I purchased this in the blue color as a gift for my niece. She absolutely loves it! She is into jogging, and camping, ...
Very outdoor type. She was so excited to receive this. She can go jogging and pack a few essentials. Great buy for the money.
LL Bean quality is the best!

This is a great item that I have n two colors and use on an almost daily basis. .I have been recovering from an injury to my right foot and need to keep the things I carry close to the body - which is good advice anyway. I wear it turned around to the front and balance it with a matching backpack. Very sporty and nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by jennyjlr44 GREAT product for Disney!
I bought this to use for our trip to Disney World with 2 young kids. I really didn't want to bring any bags into the park...just the necessities. This product was PERFECT! It had 3 different areas that worked well for keeping things organized. The largest area actually held more than I thought! The zippers were easy to unzip one handed. And overall, the pack was comfortable to wear (as I wore it for 12+ hours each day we were at Disney). I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to be hands-free, but needs the essentials to travel!

The size of the bag good, except for the padding which adds too much "depth" for comfort -

Rated 2 out of 5 by psconn Poor construction
For once an LL Bean product was disappointing.
The padding behind the bag adds much too much bulk for a bag this small.
What rendered the bag useless was the clasp which did not hold onto the belt despite many tries. With any use over five minutes the belt slid out of the buckle and the bag fell off my waist.
A rare, but complete, disappointment

Rated 3 out of 5 by LoveLL Nice except for two key problems...
I gave this 3 stars because the pack has some features that are good, such as size, appearance, shape, water-resistance, zipper placement. However, when it arrived I saw that it has excessive padding, which adds to the weight and actually makes it less comfortable than it might otherwise be. It has internal padding along the rear, PLUS a thick, external pad. Even though all of this padding is meant to make it comfortable, it does the opposite. So it felt awkward and heavy when I tested it with a moderate amount of gear, on a short walk, and I had back pain. If I could have removed some or all of the padding without compromising the pack, I might have kept it, but instead I returned it.
Also, there's a way to tuck in the excess straps, which is a good feature, but unless the strap excess is within a limited, specific range, it can not be restrained. I have a 28" waist so one would think that the excess straps would reach the strap holders, but they don't. Perhaps if the strap holders were to be movable they would work better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Travel17 Comfortable, great fit, and roomy
For a recent trip, this bag was the perfect solution to carry all those necessary items and still be comfortable. I loved the fit and ability to be hands free. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by OutdoorGirl Good for hiking
I already had the larger lumbar pack, which I have enjoyed, but I wanted this smaller version for shorter hikes. The quality of the materials is good, and it is quite comfortable and handy to use.
